We booked the Pioneers Loft for a four night stay with our two year old son as we were visiting relatives on the Peninsula and wanted to be quite central to Victor Harbor and Normanville but also have easy access to Adelaide. Location is fantastic and easy to find. The apartment is simply stunning and contains every amenity you could possibly want. Spacious and well appointed with enough room for a toddler to explore without feeling cramped. The baby gate at the top of the stairs is a godsend as we were always comfortable he was safe and sound while playing. We made use of the kitchen but there are plenty of lunch and dinner options nearby. We will certainly book again next time we come over from Melbourne. Thanks for having us!!

What a lovey surprise. Large room, clean, light, quiet. Plus microwave so we could make our breakfast. Definitely recommend this motel. Nicer than some hotels.

26th-28th December 2025 Location is good, close to everything. A comfortable lodging space, all the staff are friendly and attentive. We have stayed a few times now and very happy. Everything from bathroom to the linen is clean and fresh. The only issue was the actual mattress. We don’t know if you changed them or they’re getting old but first night we tossed and turned because we both had sore backs. We didn’t say anything because we thought it was us being used to our own bed. However on the second night it became unbearable so at 12:30am we packed up and went back home to Adelaide (you will see on the cameras) to get some proper rest. Luckily we were only a couple hours away. Everything else was beautiful, but sorry guys the bed was either outdated or they’ve been replaced with cheap mattresses.

Clean, spacious and comfortable (bed was firm - bit too much for me but didn't bother others). Easy check in and out. Would stay again.

Large rooms, clean, friendly staff and excellent communication. Thoroughly recommend staying here if in the area. Strathalbyn is a lovely town to visit.

Strath Motel is always such a comfortable stay. Location quiet and walking distance to eateries. Room is large and comfortable. Reception always so helpful. We will always return to this great stay. Bathroom is so roomy and clean.

Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Easy walk into the main shopping areas, with several dining options, and the historic High Street. Staff very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Visited Langhorne Creek Wineries. Lovely lunch at Lake Breeze. Strathalbyn is a beautiful old town with beautiful gardens on the River. Thank you. Margaret

Very suitable accommodation as we were staying with our adult son ready for a big car show so needed off street bituminised parking and a family room with extra beds.
