The rooms are spacious, clean and extremely well laid out. There is even a large table, comfy chairs and coffee table. The staff were fantastic, especially when I wanted to extend my stay. The access is easy and the rooms have a rear door with private porch with garden and outside table and chairs. Perfect. The area around the motel was quiet and enjoyable.

I stayed at the hotel for a wedding - the staff were lovely, the room was spacious & very clean. I would definitely stay here again

We bid on this motel stay on Travel Auctions after friends had stayed at the Strath Motel. WOW, what an experience we had from check in to check out, we couldn't fault this motel. On check in we received the friendliest welcome from the front office girls who explained all we needed to know for our two day stay including a bottle of wine, nibbles hamper, drinks vouchers at a local hotel and breakfast menus (all part of the Travel Auction deal). Rooms are all ground floor, well set up with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Nice big bath towels, soaps and shampoos laid out neatly. Breakfast was substantial with a choice of eggs and bacon as basic with extras at cost. For us the scrabbled eggs and bacon was more than enough. The continental breakfast on the second morning was also well catered with cereal, juices and fresh bread for toasting. Big plungers of hot beverage of choice also on the breakfast tray. We cannot forget the nibbles hamper in our room on arrival. It was generous to a tee, enough for two people to share for the two nights we were there. Three types of cold meats, dips, cheese, strawberries and gherkin. Whilst we assume that this is not a standard offering, it really topped our stay. A meal at the Robin Hood Hotel was an enjoyable interlude with substantial and good quality meals. A trip to Bremerton winery for a tasting of their excellent wines plus a Ploughman's Lunch filled the bill for a days outing. All in All a wonderful stay at a welcoming and well maintained motel. We will definitely be returning sometime in the near future, age willing....

We appreciated the large, relaxed living space, with outdoor area. Easy access to Carpark. Walking distance to Street, Shops, Parks, and Walking tracks. The Grazing Box was a Welcome Surprise, enjoyed for appetiser, before reheating our Home Made Spaghetti Bol!! Very Comfortable Bed, beautiful Bathroom, with inbuilt Soap dispenser. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast, before leaving for Home. Very keen to return, and stay longer! Quiet , Comfortable, and Rural Country area, even with Development closely! Strathalbyn is a Truly Beautiful Town, and Area! Loved the Hotels, Museums, Op Shops, and Organic Cafe! Lot's to see and Explore ❤️! Thankyou So Much for your Hospitality!! PipnNick!

Absolutely love this location. Central, clean, friendly staff, what more could you ask for. Such a good vibe, love the size of the rooms, value, ability to accommodate your configurations for beds. I also love the make-up removers as an extra special touch.

The motel room was amazing, the boys were glued to the TV, great night’s sleep, we will come back again for a longer stay, thanks to the friendly staff

Amazing stay, l booked for family again who can’t stay with us in Clayton. They love the area and how central Strathalbyn is situated. The staff and owners go over and above to accommodate all your needs.

What a wonderful 3 day stay. Best motel we have stayed in for many years. Location was great, the room was roomy with a small balcony, very clean, minimal noise level given its location, amenities were standard, ie bar fridge, microwave, toaster etc with a large flat screen TV. Close to restaurants, hotels & fast food outlets. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Basically, you couldn't wish for a better place to stay.
