No response to my previous reply from either ******* or the Bear Inn itself with my report on arrival of:-
-On booking/website there was no notification that the accomodation would be off site, as the rooms inside the actual hotel itself were being renovated, as advised by hotel staff only on arrival, no evidence of this renovation.
- The room off site was inferior/impractical/dull/nothing like the pictures shown on the hotel website when booking.
- I had to clean spiderwebs off open windows, clean dust/dirt from surfaces in the bathroom and desk on arrival to the off site room as they were filthy.
- I reported what looked like blood on the inside of the exterior door of the off site accomodation entrance and this was still there after my three days of residence, great.
- My room was serviced/cleaned once only over a three night stay where the website states daily room service.
- I tried the hotels dinner on first night, big mistake. Entree Bruschetta was at room temperature, main course curry was the same.
Bar staff had no idea about local beers & only response when asked was 'We sell San Miguel alot' and when I chose Amstel beer this went flat very quickly and was not cold.
With the contact from ******* asking for my thoughts on arrival on the day that would be forwarded to the hotel manager, I did so, expecting some level of response but after staying there for three nights I have received only another automated email asking the same question.
Hopeless.
