Several small things detracted from the 5-star experience: charging for ice in the room (free and freely available in 5-star hotels), complimentary water only on the first night (very small cost saving preferred over 5-star service = bad marketing), refusal to assist with washing facilities after checkout on final day also = bad marketing, limited knowledge of local tourist services was a disappointment.
Otherwise: staff were friendly, polite and helpful; spa is and massage was top-class
