Worst hotel experience of my life ! I arrived late around 10 pm after driving all day. I checked in and went directly to bed after getting into the room. I wake up around 12:30 and I feel like my skin is on fire. I turn the light on and I have little red marks all over my body. (In all fairness I do have sensitive skin.) Half asleep I panicked and put my clothes back on, threw all my stuff back in the car and left. I went to another hotel nearby and purchased another room for the first night of my 4 night stay that I already paid for. I took a shower and went to bed finally around 2:30. Woke up the next morning absolutely fine. I have no idea what it was, but something in the bedding in this room caused this reaction. I return to the front desk in the morning to inform them of what happened and that I will need to check out 3 days early. I stated I would be happy to pay for the previous night but need a refund for the next 3. I am then told that since I booked through ******* the hotel could not issue me a refund and I would have to contact *******. I found the customer service phone number and figured out how to finally get a human on the phone. After explaining what had happened I was told ******* would call the hotel to get a statement. I was called back about an hour later and informned that "The hotel manager has inspected the bedding in the room and saw nothing that would cause a rash" and ******* would not be able to issue me a refund per their policy with the hotel.
