The owner was very accommodating for my booking due to my plan changed. I really appreciate it. The only thing with the room is very very not sound proof. I can hear everything especially when a huge group of loud travelers staying next to us.

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by this hostel! It was a quaint little place, with a homely feel. The location was great, only a 12 minute drive from Apollo Bay, with a waterfall around the corner and an empty beach a 5 minute walk away! There’s farm animals around to look at, the place was clean and tidy, with a decent kitchen and communal areas. It is completely self-checkin and we saw no staff while there so be prepared for that! Overall, for the price, I would definitely be rebooking a stay here.

Excellent location for a stop by along the ocean road, 15 minutes drive to Apollo bay, quiet little property located at the foot of mountain and facing the sea, with fantastic ocean view and interesting rock and sand beach The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room of bay view is spacious with a small sitting room and all necessary utensils People just need to bring necessary food and drink to cook for themselves as there is a bit distance from the town center A little advice though: please provide air-conditioner for the accommodations as it’s pretty hot in summer in the room. It’s not comfortable and the guest cannot sleep well in the summer heat

Need to contact the property before the stay as this is fully self check in. And hardly see any staff. The place is very beautiful and very exclusive as it is located not near the main street. Appreciated the owner's effort to maintain this place. We fell in love with this place and the starry night.

Location is ok for a stop over, but there is nothing around the property for several kilo meters. So u must get take outs if u are planning to stay. Also, there is no coffee in the kitchen (There is a machine in a shed), no room service, no vending machines or food, and no interaction with the people who manage the property of any kind. Also, no wifi so you must use your data wisely if you are travelling. The room was a makeshift sort of a thing just enough to fit a bed. The bedding were dirty and infested. we ended up wearing our jackets and trousers to sleep in the cold. The toilets are shared no matter what room you book and is unisex so you might wanna consider waiting times and awkwardness in the toilet with other strangers. We paid a lot for it as it was around Christmas time, however I would advise anything more than 50$ is a rip off for this property. Might be suitable for backpackers on the roads, but families should avoid it. If its on your way to somewhere, i would recommend a photo stop over.
