Me and my two daughters aged 21 and 11 had a last minute booking. Our booking was easy to do online and I used my Blue light card to get a discount, I'm a registered nurse. We stayed for two nights with breakfast. The price was great value. We were greeted by Adam who was so friendly on arrival and made checking in smooth; helping to sort out the parking and even carried our cases to our room without question. Our room was very clean, comfortable and a good size. The only negative is noise; the floors creak and I could hear people upstairs and in the corridor. (I did request a quiet room as Im a very light sleeper). This was such a shame because we loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff! Breakfast was a bonus and the quality was good! I especially liked the cooked offerings although not essential. I must say the staff went above and beyond what we were expecting and we could feel that they genuinely cared about our experience. Both Sarah and Emma were lovely; especially Emma at checkout. The staff really make this hotel special. If the room noise and creaky flooring could be sorted it would be just perfect. We would stay again and maybe an upstairs room may have been a better option. However, we congratulate the staff on a super pleasant stay.
