Nemt at finde og dejligt centralt. Fin placering hvis man skal rundt og se Langeland. Samtidig billigt.

This rating and review is mostly a result of the way the owner operates his business. When booking I understood that it was a late booking - 3 days in advance - and that my options were limited. The price quoted and paid was DKK 607.75 roughly EUR 94 is not cheap but acceptable as we had to go there. On the booking site there are photos that depicts the premises as they are - but this is also where the dishonesty starts. In one photo a toilet is labelled as "PRIVATE BATHROOM" in Danish ... well yes … its private if you close the door or consider that people from the street can't walk in and use it ... it is in reality a toilet that is shared between all rooms on 1st and 2nd floor ... so much for privacy. When you look at the amenities it is stated that there is shower in the room. There is not. There are two showers available downstairs ... again shared between all rooms. Further its stated that you have a full kitchen in the room … there is not. Again, its communal and shared by all guests. And calling it a full kitchen is a stretch. No vine glasses were available, and all things were a mismatch of stuff. Not enough is more than four guests wants to use at the same time and only possible when outside dining is possible as there is not enough space inside. The booking was non-refundable, which was made clear when I reserved the place so no issue there. But ... in a mail sent prior to arrival a deposit for keys and a service charge for towels and linen suddenly appears. So, you can ditch the booking if dissatisfied forfeiting your money or accept. I didn't read the mail so was only made aware upon arrival … my bad. When I complained to the host about fees, he didn't really care … and all the other discrepancies were of no concern for him. Upon departure I managed to convince him of the unreasonable procedure and managed to recuperate the fee … but only just and only after refereeing to the fact in legal terms he was defrauding me as a guest. It’s not the money it's the dishonesty that irks me! Really stay away from this place … there are much better options in the town that cost about the same while being real hotels that include full service and breakfast. This experience was shared with other guest at the place who all had the same view and same complaints. I also contacted the booking site that based on my complaint about surcharge for linen and towels immediately issued a voucher … now I have reached out to them again regarding further complaints that only came to my knowledge after I had talked to the booking site. Closing note … when we were checking out this Danish Basil Fawlty was on the phone with the booking agency trying to explain himself … didn’t sound as they had much understanding for his view of the situation :-)

Modest living. Clean common area (kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room). For a family of three, we stayed at a penthouse - spacious with own toilet. Comfortable beds. Walking distance to shops of your need.
