Camping site in Svensby The place is practically next to the Svensby ferry station, from which you can get to Breivikeidet and drive to Tromsø from there. The place is a small camping site for caravans and with a few cabins. We had a small cabin with kitchen, which worked well for us. The kitchen seemed renovated recently. The cabin had a small bedroom with a bunk bed, but the top bed wasn’t sturdy enough for an adult. We slept in the bottom bed which was a little wider but it was still quite a tight space for two people. There was no air conditioning, which means the bathroom didn’t dry up after a shower, and it was quite hot to sleep (can’t open the windows because of mosquitos).
