塔斯馬尼亞斯旺海岸假日公園(Swansea Holiday Park Tasmania)

We would have stayed here except they don't allow tents. This seems to be a growing trend with so-called holiday parks. When you are living on a tight budget, camping in a tent is a good option - holidays will soon only be available to the wealthy. Very disappointed.

If you’re after a fancy caravan park with all the bells and whistles, this is not it, but if you’re after a wonderful park with clean amenities, super friendly and helpful owners, and park access to a beautiful beach, this is the spot for you. We stayed in a family cabin, and were extremely impressed with the interior and cleanliness of the room. The rooms are lovely, well laid out, and had everything we needed. It is evident that the owners take a lot of pride in the park, the communal facilities were spotless, and the gardens and lawns were immaculate, and the exterior of the communal facilities all looked like they’d recently been painted, they were that clean and neat. This park doesn’t have a playground or anything like that, but there is one nearby, and there is beach access from the park. We appreciated that this access was gated, meaning that the kids couldn’t get there without an adult with the key. Despite not having play facilities, the park had a scavenger hunt activity for kids to do if they chose to, which our kids (aged 11 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed doing independently. Someone has gone to a lot of effort to create this engaging hunt, the hunt took the kids nearly 2 hours to complete, which was a lovely little quiet spell for the grownups. They especially loved the sweet treat at the end, and working together with some other children who were staying in the park. We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay here again!

Spent a week here on a powered caravan site. The site was grassy, amenities and facilities spotless. Two well appointed camp kitchens. Easy access to the beach. Staff helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend staying here.

This park is just magnificent and deserves a 5 star rating. The sites are large manicured grass and the ablutions are second to none we have ever seen. The park is very well looked after and a credit to all the staff who work here. Without doubt one of the best parks in Australia and the owners / managers should be very proud you have a beautiful asset here.

OMG!!! What an amazing park!!!!! Spotlessly clean - heaps of toilet and showers all kept immaculate. Massive laundry area with 5 washing machines plus 2 that were out of order - 2 huge dryers plus a number of clothes lines. The laundry was pristine. The grounds were like a bowling green. A gathering room that was beautifully appointed plus BBQ area as well as a camp kitchen. The powered sites were twice the size of an average site!! Reception staff were lovely. Went to sleep listening to the waves as it’s close only a very short walk. Very quiet as well even though it was pretty booked up. A must visit place.

This is the best camping site we've come across so far on the east coast of Tasmania! It's clean. Spacious. Safe. Walking distance to restaurants. Reasonable price for the camper we're travelling in. The laundry, clothes lines, kitchen, bbq facilities, showers, are Brilliant. LOVED our visit to Swansea. We're Kiwi travelling around Tasmania

We stayed for one night in one of the cabins and it had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and super helpful, they had a list of recommendations ready to go. It was a perfect spot to stop off and it was right next to the water. Such a lovely town.

Nice clean, quiet park. Close to the main street and golf club. We had a cabin, clean with all we needed. Would stay again. Reception staff knowledgeable. I crashed my golf cart, not that you care, but I need to fill 200 characters, I have bruises. Well worth a stay!

Our family stayed in our caravan for 7 nights at the Holiday Park. Could not fault the park. Excellently maintained, spacious sites. The toilet blocks were in pristine condition and always clean. Easy 2 minute walk to a lovely beach. Easy walk into the centre of Swansea. 2 kitchens - one with electric BBQs and the other with two stoves, fridge/freezer, microwave. Owners were fantastic and friendly. We will be back again!!
