索斯塔餐廳旅館的評價

Wie waren leider nur 1 Nacht hier... Schöne Zimmer, tolles Bad, alles sehr sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück ein Traum. Wegen unseres sehr offenen Zeitplanes hatten wir abends leider kein Abendessen im Restaurant reserviert. Der Mitarbeiter hat uns aber sofort mit einer tollen Restaurantempfehlung geholfen. Trotzdem habe ich es bedauert, nicht dort gegessen zu haben...

Un ottimo motivo di sosta lungo la Garden Route. Bellissima costruzione d’epoca resa moderna e di design. Camera accogliete e curata. Salvatore e Nina si sono dimostrati professionali e disponibili, ottimi host e eccellenti cuochi. Tutto lo staff di livello!

Les chambres sont justes magnifiques, belle décoration, calme et très confortable. Une jolie piscine dans le jardin. N'hésitez pas aussi à réserver une table au restaurant gastro, tout était délicieux, nous nous sommes régalés, belle carte de vins.

La Sosta really is an unmissable place. Our room was spacious, nicely decoraded, with a king size bed and very well appointed. It was in a quiet position, with a veranda facing the garden behind the main house. Dinner was exceptional, from the home baked sourdough bread with fig oil & butter, fantastic beef carpaccio to capeletti - star quality! We chose the scambled eggs on toast for breakfast & it was masterfully done - I would love to take a class with this masterchef! Thanks also to Karel for his attentive service. We will have to make more stopovers at la Sosta in the future!

The (few) rooms were very stylishly decorated and there was enough space outside to relax. Beds were excellent but the crown was the food. EXCELLENT restaurant serving Italian food. The breakfast, included, was also served there and the eggs Benedict we were served were some of the best we ever tasted. The sights of Swellendam were not very close, but since it was easy to park, this didn't pose a problem. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Rooms are great. Pool area is lovely. The food is amazing!!!! We ate there both nights as why bother to go somewhere else when the food and wine was perfect. Swellendam is a pretty place to stop on your way through the garden route and a change from the coast

We stayed at La Sosta for a weekend and were once again blown away by both the overall experience and the attention to detail - at every level. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The rooms are clean and well appointed, with great touches including their delicious home made biscotti. We ate at their La Sosta restaurant and it really did feel like we had been transported back to a holiday in Italy - wonderful food paired with some lesser known but brilliant South African wines.

We didn't stay here but we ate in the restaurant. It was incredible! So unexpected in a small town on the way through the garden route. Such a great stopping off point. This is a small family run restaurant with top quality food and service. We've travelled far and wide and eaten well in many places and this would be in our top 3! We shall definitely try and stay here too next time!

We spent two nights at La Sosta Guest House and we loved it. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the pool area was really nice. Breakfast was amazing (homemade joghurt and roissant). Dinner at La Sosta Restaurant was fantastic. Overall we found that Swellendam is a great place to stay. The National Park offers great hikes and the town has some really good restaurants.

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the friendly owners’ reception of us, to the beautiful, contemporary, clean and comfortable rooms, swimming pool and fantastic breakfast. The best place to stay at in Swellendam. We will definitely be back!

We loved arriving at the restaurant' along alit pathway from our amazing rooms, past the outdoor pool and accompanied by the sound of croaking frogs somewhere in the darkness. We were bowled over by the restaurant itself and the immediate feel good as you walk into the warm glow of the room. Unlike so many other '͚fine dining͛ restaurants in South Africa the main reason for being in this restaurant, is going to be all about the food. The young kitchen team produce incredibly clever dishes of outstanding flavours that can come only come from using the very best of ingredients and manage to do so amazingly. This is food to make you sit up and take notice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the food they are working with and obviously love what they do- as it shows. However it’s the exceptional food that makes La Sosta, if this restaurant was in Europe that chef, and his amazing team would be in the running for a Michelin star. Don’t just take our word try this amazing place out for yourselves as I know you won’t be disappointed. We are looking forward to our next visit here in the future.

Swellendam ademt ons oude koloniale verleden uit. Er staan mooie oude huizen. Het grappige is dat la Sosta vroeger bekend stond als "Cornelia's cottage" Cornelia was de naam van mijn moeder. Een mooi toeval toch? Wij hadden een mooie kamer met een beetje kleine badkamer. Voor een nachtje is dat niet echt erg. De tuin was fraai met leuke zitjes en een mooi zwembad. Het ontbijt is bij het bijbehorende restaurant. Daar hebben we in de avond ook gedineerd. La Sosta is bekend als goed restaurant en daar hebben we zeker van genoten. Het eten was geweldig en de klantgerichtheid ook. Ook het ontbijt was prima en helemaal aangepast aan onze wensen.
