老牧師住宅旅館(De Oude Pastorie)

We verbleven in deze accommodatie helaas maar 1 nacht. De eigenaar ontving ons hartelijk en liet ons het verblijf zien. Wat een mooie historische plek. Fijne kamers en een goed ontbijt. Een vroeg ontbijt (omdat we een lange dag voor de boeg hadden) was geen probleem.

Abbiamo passato una sola notte in questa elegante Guesthouse, nel nostro itinerario lungo la Garden Route. A disposizione degli ospiti ci sono le 'dependance' della magnifica casa padronale, in un contesto decisamente degno di nota. Il breve tempo e la stagione non ci hanno consentito di godere a pieno dei magnifici spazi esterni. La padrona di casa è stata molto gentile ed attenta alle nostre esigenze. Le stanze erano confortevoli e complessivamente gradevoli (anche se non comprendo il senso del frigo accanto al letto) e la colazione, servita nella casa padronale, molto ricca. Assai comodo anche il parcheggio interno. Il tutto per un prezzo decisamente contenuto. Dunque, come da titolo, perfetta per la nostra breve sosta a Swellendam.

Mooie en authentieke bed and breakfast. Mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er wordt een top ontbijt geserveerd. Ontvangst is heel hartelijk en er wordt informatie gegeven over de omgeving. Tevens genoeg restaurants op loopafstand. Aanrader

Beautiful house with a great swimmingpool. Very large room and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and a lot. Very nice hosts. You can have diner at walking distance at Christelle’s. And there is a coffeeshop acros the street.

We had a lovely time at De Oude Pastorie. The rooms were excellent and very spacious, breakfast was superb but the highlight was the warm and friendly welcome from Antone and Johann. They could not have been more helpful and friendly and made us feel as if we were staying with friends rather than in a guesthouse. For anyone travelling to or through Swellendam I highly recommend staying here, we certainly will if we are in Swellendam again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Swellendam at de oude Pastorie the family oriented hosts were a delight - our room was exceptional with smashing ensuite facilities and private balcony overlooking the lush gardens overlooking the pool -breakfast was excellent and plentiful- we will return Chris and Jenny UK

Thank you to Antoné & Johann for a lovely stay (4th February). Our room was delightful, large, clean and comfortable. It was also lovely to have a swim & a relax by the pool. The breakfast on the veranda was first class with plenty of choice. There is ample secure parking and it is only a very short drive to some excellent restaurants. We are sorry we could only stay one night. We highly recommend.

An amazing stay! Antoné and Johann were such great hosts. We booked out the whole De Oude Pastprie Guesthouse for a place to stay for a wedding and it did not disappoint. Antoné and Johann was also more than happy to allow the groomsmen to get ready in the main house and take photos, which I believe are going to be stunning! The Eden and Pharoah room is absolutely beautiful rooms with is unique features. The Eden and Pharoah room share a communal lounge that is beautifully decorated! The Cottage is absolutely breathtaking! Filled with 3 rooms and the ability to sleep 7, a magnificent kitchen and a veranda that stretches all around the house. We had the best times there. Eden and Pharoah had both their own fridges and coffee stations with a TV in the room that has access to Netflix if you want to watch some of your favorite series. The bathrooms are beautiful and offer some complete Rest and Relaxation. The Cottage is well equipped with a beautiful kitchen that has a gas stove, 2 fridges and even a dishwasher. Each room also has a smaller fridge if you want to keep some cold water in the room. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and you just feel completely relaxed. If you are ever looking for a comfortable stay, that is reasonably priced and that focuses on details, I would highly recommend De Oude Pastorie! Many thanks! Rooms: Absolutely beautiful rooms with perfect natural lighting, comfortable beds, television, fridge and coffee station. Noteworthy details: Each room is beautifully decorated and has ammenities such as coffee plungers, coffee, tea, kettles and fridges. The rooma also offer a hair dryer for the indicidiauls that is flying do you do not have to pack yours.the rooms in the main house, from what we saw, also offer a fresh bathroom robe that is very soft, and a pair of slippers for each person staying in the room.
