We stayed in the lovely cottage for one night only, but all was provided. Lovely linen, good showers, comfy beds, a nice outside space. Coffee & tea. Even fresh milk in the fridge and cold water.

After 5 times visiting Mountain View we felt also this time our stay as comfortable as always. We love the save and peaceful area and the nice restaurants on walking distance. Vera is a friendly host who is interested in her guests.

The cottage location had a stunning view. Owner did say that it needed a more modern update but it met our requirements.

We had a great stay at Mountian View. After the warm welcome by Vera we stayed at the authentic cottage. If your with a group a perfect place. The privat garden around the cottage makes your stay feel wonderfully secluded. The garden is absolutely beautiful and teeming with birds, making it the perfect spot to unwind in total privacy. Beyond our own space, it was great to have access to the communal swimming pool and the shared lounge area, which is incredibly well-equipped with everything you might need. The location is also ideal; the center of Swellendam is just a short distance away and perfectly walkable during the day. This is definitely a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We had a fantastic time!"
