Nice hotel，friendly employee

Simple and basic place , location not the best unless going to the race track , was looking forward to the restaurant and cafe but nothing were closed due to holiday..... clean and tidy .... pool was good ....

We were welcomed by staff, restaurant (Oak) was grea, food delicious. Great for a romantic getaway. Perfect position to the race track. We did have someone else enter our room with a key giving us and them a shock but when calling down to reception to advise the problem was rectified immediately.

We where disappointed with the bed, it felt like its best days where long gone and should have been replaced some time ago. Carpets where showing there age with some holes near the room door way. The pool had a sign saying it was 24 degrees which we don't think it was even close to, the pool also had no fresh towels available unless you went back upstairs to reception to get more. There is no housekeeping for rooms on a Sunday, if coffee or towels are required you need to chase up with reception which was not communicated anywhere. Overall for a 4* rated property we where rather disappointed.

Property is declining and badly needs maintenance, cockroaches in the room, worst oldest flattest pillows ever encountered; rude checkin staff.

Great location if you're at the Sydney Motorsport Park and want somewhere close and nice to go after a big day on track.

At 5:30 am walking down the stairs to the lobby we saw a mouse running around. Found an empty bottle water in the corner of the room when we fist got in. A/C did not work very well in room 103, told the front desk and they said put it to the snow icon and wait a few min. Temp was set to 19 degrees and for sure it did feel that way. You can feel the temperature difference when you ope. The room door the the hallway.

The front staff were amazingly generous and kind throughout my stay. They let me enter early as I had driven a long way, upgraded me which sounded great but at Midnight when I couldn't sleep due to the traffic outside on the expressway, I had to ring down and leave the lovely room to get a new room on the quieter side of the Hotel. They accommodated this need, helped me move but unfortunately it wasn't as clean, older I think?, had no walk-in shower which I had requested. The Restaurant and bar had lovely food and a good selection of wine and the in room tea and coffee facility well stocked. It wasn't a cheap hotel so I was just a tad disappointed in the rooms.

Room was clean .but dish cloths was a old dish sponge with stains on it .only 4 knives, one cereal spoon and one teaspoon, no tea towels or dish liquid. No coffee only tea
