Disappointing and Deceptive The property was not clean when I arrived. Dirty kitchen (eventually cleaned by host), dirty floors, dead bugs along the base boards, dirty patio furniture covered in dust and cobwebs. Amenities listed such as hot tub, dryer and grill were not included. WiFi didn't work.Below is a picture of the dirty patio furniture.

Linda was great at being understanding about our situation we found ourselves in.

Location is the only reason to stay here The cabin is described as rustic, but, that should not mean poorly cleaned and poorly maintained. Both doors were very difficult to lock and unlock; i never could do the back door. We took down a large mirror because it was hanging precariously. The first time we changed a toilet paper roll, the holder fell off the wall. There were large cobwebs hanging in every corner, splatters on the wall behind the sink, mold on the inside of the shower curtain, and old, flat pillows. I have stayed in many VRBO before, all of which provided some helpful conveniences. For example, there is no need for dozens of mismatched plates, cutlery, and cups in a tiny cabin, leaving no space for our food. Some salt, pepper, saran wrap and tinfoil would have been useful. Similarly, no need for dozens of towels, and hence, no room for our toiletries. A small bottle of shampoo and conditioner would be helpful. The big asset that the cabin has is a great location. Even with small children, we could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and the ice cream shop.

Average home/cabin Loved how close it was to beach. Beds were comfy. Host is very nice. Cute little home but needs a little tlc. Duct tape on floor and bath tub wall. Curtain rods held up with tape. 1 Window screen falls out. Cob webs inside and outside. I hate giving bad comments but hope host takes this and fixes these small ine

Cozy and close to the lake We as a family enjoyed our stay at Linda's cabin. I love that its was so close to the lake (2 minute walk) and close to lots of shops. Everything you need is at the cottage. The backyard is huge and you can enjoy the fire pit (as long as there is not a fire ban). Linda was a great hostess. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little place by the beach It was a great place in the heart of sylvan lake! Close to all shops and the beach. It is exactly as described in the listing! We had a wonderful time.
