Boutique Eco Hotel Sasanka

Etwas am Rand des Ortes gelegen, dennoch ist man zu Fuß schnell in dem Ort. Sauberes Zimmer, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, mehr haben wir nicht genutzt. Wir hatten über ein Reisevermittler in Deutschland gebucht. Leider hatten wir nur ein kleines Dachzimmer ohne Balkon. Da konnte jedoch das Hotel nichts dafür. Ein unbewachter Parkplatz für eine geringe Gebühr gibt es auch. Alles in allem war es gut.

Bardzo słabo wypada ten hotel jeżeli chodzi o obsługę. Nie wiem kogo winić, czy sama obsługę czy właściciela który nie nauczył ich podstawowych zasad obsługi gości hotelowych. Wszędzie był problem, nawet zamówienie jajecznicy bez pomidorów (w karcie była jajecznica z boczkiem i pomidorami) stanowiło problem 😱🤦‍♀️ zero obycia i zrozumienia potrzeb klienta. Jak zwracaliśmy im uwagę to nawet nie przepraszał, tylko stały cicho bez komentarza. Była tylko jedna Pani, która ogarniała (siedziała na recepcji w blond włosach i taka rezolutną, rozgadana była, wszystko opowiedziała i służyła chętnie rada) ale nikt nie poinformował nas ze dosłownie za wszystko będzie dodatkowa opłata. To traktuje jak zdzierstwo w biały dzień. Za parking 😱 za napoje do obiadokolacji 🤦‍♀️ wszędzie opłaty. Jak zadzwoniliśmy i poprosiliśmy o wodę, żeby ktoś nam przyniósł do pokoju to też chcieli sobie policzyć dodatkową opłatę, no śmiech na sali. A co do jedzenia to owoce tylko z rana, jak nie zdążysz to nie zjesz bo nic nie dokrajali. Posiłki takie sobie, bez żadnej rewelacji. To co dobre, to smalec i ich chleb. W SPA tylko Pani Polina ogarnia cokolwiek. Reszta chyba udaje że zna się na zabiegach. Nie czułam się bezpiecznie w ich rękach. W basenie zimna woda, dopiero w dniu wyjazdu lekko cieplejsza, ale nadal zimna. Na pewno tam nie wrócimy!!! Wyjazd przepłacony totalnie. A i jeszcze dodam że w pokoju było czuć wilgoci i smród stęchlizny. Żadnej herbaty, ani kawy w pokoju. Niewystarczająca ilość wieszaków w stosunków do ilości ręczników dla maksymalnej liczby gości w pokoju. Źle, źle i jeszcze raz źle.

Something very disturbing happened at this hotel. Whether it was a change of ownership, professional burnout of the managers, lack of proper staff training, or perhaps (most likely) all of the above at once. I remember this hotel from the pre-pandemic times when I would come with VIP groups, and as a tourleader, I was confident that the service standards would be top-notch. However, during my last stay with a group (and there were many), the situations I encountered made it clear that it would be my last stay, and I won't be bringing any more groups to this hotel. It turns out that despite being able to establish even the tiniest details of the stay program and contract terms, the hotel agenda prepared by the manager did not align with the previous agreements, resulting in guests not receiving what they had ordered. When the inconsistencies were pointed out, the staff would ask the rhetorical question, "Whose fault is it?" Certainly not the one who clearly defined the terms of the stay! The group's frustration resulting from this was met with a series of malicious comments (not necessarily in Polish) from the staff and even the guest's access to the room being blocked by canceling the key card before the checkout time. The staff's poor command of the Polish language doesn't justify their insolent attitude towards the group, and a simple word of apology, in cases where the hotel clearly failed, was never uttered. Instead, the receptionist wanted to send one of my guests (the president herself) "to the carpet" to meet with the hotel director because "the director wanted to talk to Ms. XYZ about her inappropriate behavior" (sic). I took this particular case as humorous because it's difficult to take such a stance from a person representing the hotel seriously, especially since the behavior of that lady did not deviate from generally accepted standards of savoir vivre. It was simply a firmer way of pointing out that the hotel was not fulfilling the terms of the contract. The hotel itself already has its "rich" history, written on dirty walls, damaged doors, shabby furniture, bent and paint-stained radiators (photos). The lack of supervision and a "host's touch" is evident to the naked eye. I would like to add that I always read reviews before visiting any place, and usually, I treat the most negative ones as being written by "demanding nitpickers." Unfortunately, in the case of Sasanka hotel, these negative reviews are confirmed in practice.

Fantastic! - Comfortable, affordable and very clean! 100% recommend ! The good: * VERY close to the railway station. about a 10 minute walk - Forget the taxi! * VERY Clean * Awesome breakfast - Full buffet with all the trimmings - LOVED the coffee machine! * Day receptionist spoke fluent English - (But who cares.. we all have Google Translate, right!) * VERY LARGE pool! - Our kids loved it!! ( I could put this in the bad section too.. they didn't want to get out! ) Nothing bad, but the 'not so good' is.... * Small rooms. But fluffy and comfortable bedding! * A walk to town takes 20 minutes (or taxi for 35 pln) - So, while it's a quick walk to the railway station... if you're walking to town, you have to go to the railway station.. then past it... about 10 minutes. Still, no big deal. * Hot tub.... not so hot.
