The motel was old and run down. Needed a lot of upgrade. We were given a room at check in and when we walked up to the room it wasn’t ready. We had to leave and come back so they could finish preparing it for us

Hôtel bien situé, proche du lac, des restaurants.
Chambre propre et spacieuse.
Il manque un vrai petit-déjeuner car il y a du café et du thé et des gâteaux à aller chercher au lobby pour les consommer dans la chambre.

The property is a bit run down. The 2nd floor walkway is uneven which can be a tripping hazard. There is an actual hole down to the subfloor, in the rug in my room. Wallpaper is peeling in the bathroom, tiles are loose and there are mold stains in the shower, and there is a general appearance of decay in the bathroom.
The ski racks are a nice touch, the closet is large and the sleeping area is pretty well-maintained.
Overall, the property needs some work.

Quaint, clean and in a good location. But, hotel is getting old. There were some rowdy characters but the staff were nice and understanding. They gave us a small discount. You can smoke on the porch. Close to shops, beaches and ski resort. Probably will use hotel again.

We were originally put on the first floor and I didn't feel safe and so the staff moved me to the second floor. All around it was a better choice especially since there were several smokers who sat right outside there rooms smoking several times a day right next door.

Great location right across the street from North Tahoe with many restaurants (check out Fat Cats) and shopping, and 5 miles from squaw valley. Its nothing special. We stayed for 2 nights at the king bed room. Ok bed, no microwave or refrigerator though.

Showers were warm, and the rooms were clean. But the overall condition is pretty shabby (carpet, outlets, lights). The room has a weird smell that I think is their cleaning agent.
