桑尼塞得度假小屋酒店(Sunnyside Resort and Lodge)

I had a meeting to get to at 4:30 and it was 45+ minutes away. I was trying to check in early. I was told it would be at least 3pm as the previous guest checked out late. I arrived at 2:45 no luck getting in so I waited around and came back at 3pm. At that time they sent someone to check on the room cleaning progress. He came back saying it was ready that all the rooms were ready. Lack of service and laziness to check to see if my room was ready just relying on "our check in is at 3pm" excuse. Other than that it was good but the pillows are way to thick all 4 of them.

Location good. Breakfast was a joke. Restaurant disappointing-food was less than mediocre while service was average. Worst complaint is that faculty was just basically dirty with a need for a major renovation. For example, the handrails and table tops were sticky to the touch. Room had residual odors. Adding salt to the wound, hotel charged a resort fee when it was no where close to earning that designation.

The people next to us were very loud throughout the night ( keeping us awake). The lighting in the bathroom very poor. We were told incorrectly breakfast would not be served. We had a poor response to a medical issue while seating in the bar area.

The Property is in a good location pros. Cons the celling fan was loud and the rooms got really hot even at night, the air conditioning was louder but we did not need freezing cold sleep either. Bathroom sink handle was broken.

Nice lodge. The boy dissatisfied that we were put in an “pet friendly” room without our knowledge. Once we unloaded all our luggage, we noticed that we were in that type Of room.

The view was great and the people are nice. It's a comfortable place to stay, even though the sofa bed near the balcony may get slightly cold with air coming in through the glass door from the exterior.

Great place to stay in Tahoe city. Rooms with excellent views of the lake, clean and amazing staff. Breakfast included, simple but looked OK, we didn't eat there. Nespresso machine in the room!

Sunnyside provides great customer service and offers a great experience when staying in Tahoe. I try to stay here once a year because it’s a memorable stay and I love the cozy lodge feel to this place. Rooms are excellent and updated. The furniture in the upstairs tea nook can be updated but it’s very cozy and a nice spot to read or view the lake. We will be staying hard again soon!
