小鎮不大，當地的住宿酒店選擇不多，這家酒店比較方便，房間空間比較大，但燈比較昏暗，衞生條件還可以，配有洗碗機。

Lovely clean, quiet, comfortable motel. Friendly reception from owner. Everything we needed was provided including toiletries. Great location so near the supermarket and cafes. Just loved the relaxing, rural outlook with view of the hills. Would definitely recommend Mohua Motels for your stay in Takaka.

Super freundlich geführtes Motel am Ortseingang von Takaka. Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Touren an der Golden Bay. 👍🏼👍🏼

From the moment of check in by the friendly Mohua staff as I arrived in the evening set the standard. The room has or the mod cons and it was warm and well designed. The thoughtfulness to include fresh milk at check in for morning tea and coffee was highly appreciated by a travel weary visitor to Takaka. WIFI enabled to allow the business traveller to work remotely. Added to that the convenient location at the entrance to town allow me to walk in and explore this gem of the top south. Well recommend.

Katrine and Nirmel are sweethearts. We stayed for two nights. Each evening, we’d come back and get restored in our clean and well-designed room #7. The hotel is conveniently located on NZ Highway 60 and within walking distance to all the shops.

Absolut nette Gastgeber. Offen, herzlich, freundlich und liebenswert. Super angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem der Appartments mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Das Motel liegt am Eingang zum Abel Tasman Nationalpark und ist damit eine super Basis für viele Aktivitäten und Ausflüge. Ein täglich geöffneter Supermarkt ist nur ca. 100 Meter entfernt. Das Appartement war super ausgestattet und sauber.

Wat was het fijn en gezellig bij Mohua Motels in Takaka! We hadden een nette en fijne kamer, een keukentje met alles erop en eraan en een heerlijke douche, maar wat we het meest gewaardeerd hebben was de gastvrijheid van Nirmal en Kathrin en hun kinderen. Ze hebben het motel net overgenomen en runnen het met zoveel enthousiasme en plezier; wat een lieve en leuke mensen! Nirmal gaf ons goede tips om de omgeving te ontdekken. We hadden graag langer willen blijven en komen een volgende keer in NZ zeker terug!

Die Appartments sind modern, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht auch zum Selberkochen. Die beiden Hosts führen dieses Hotel aus Herzblut und man fühlt sich bei den beiden sofort wohl und willkommen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

This motel is well situated at the start of the main street, offering easy access without the feel of being surrounded, not that Takaka is big enough to give you that feel! The neighbours are cattle, offering peaceful mooing at times during the night. We loved that. Clean, well equipped. I'd simply go back there without checking options.

The motel complex had everything we needed including great laundry facilities. The reason we booked this motel initially was that it had Sky tv being rugby enthusiasts & the All Blacks were playing one evening. Wouldn't book anywhere else now, great location to shops and restaurant for dinner.

Mohua Motel was a great place to relax after a couple of busy days exploring Golden Bay. Very clean, comfortable beds, an easy place to stay. The TV's on the wall in the lounge and bedrooms were too small to see from the couch/bed and the fan in the bathroom was not effective. However, great overall service.

お部屋も清潔でキッチンも完備されている。スタッフの方もフレンドリー。スーパーやレストランにも近い。何よりもバルコニーからの眺めが最高。また機会があれば利用したい。

Excellent service from the Mohua staff. Quiet place, spacious and clean rooms, confortable beds and beautiful views from the rooms. Definitelly well recommended. It is well located at the outskirts of town and a convenient supermarket and turist office a few meters away.

The Shower had awesome pressure, and it was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very pleasent to deal with and nothing was an issue. Would highly reccomend this as an accommodation option
