若葉屋旅館

宿の雰囲気、訪れる旅人たち。そして、何よりオーナーさんの人柄で、とてもワクワクな、楽しい自転車旅になりました。ロードバイクは屋外の駐輪場に置く事になります。もし雨が心配な人は100均で売っているような自転車カバーがあると良いかも知れません。このゲストハウスの居心地の良さはピカイチです。一人でも多くの旅人に利用して欲しい宿でした。

Takeshi and his family run a very clean, welcoming guesthouse with lots of information provided both before and during our stay. The futons and the room we slept in were very comfortable, and we loved the fact that bikes were available to rent on the premises. The location is easy to get to, and having bikes to cycle rather than walk or take public transport to Ritsurin Gardens added to the fun. I also appreciated the effort Takeshi went to to ensure the bikes were in good working order, providing helmets and suggesting the best route to cycle. After 16 days in Japan, Guest House Wakabaya is up there with one of the best places we stayed.

I have stayed at many guesthouses but I must say that Wakabaya is as close to perfect as you can get: the friendly atmosphere, the well-planned and super clean interior and how the host Takeshi really took time and effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He gave some really good advice for our visit, to take our breakfasts at the wonderful Mellow Café close to Hanazono Station and visit the superb modern onsen in Busshozan. Wakabaya is situated in a quiet neighborhood with good and frequent connections with central Takamatsu,
