The new AC by Marriott was beautiful! All was great until Hurricane Idalia showed up! Power went off Wednesday morning after the emergency broadcast at 9:00 am. The windows and wall was leaking water. Great time other than that. I’ll stay there again. 😊

This place looks bougie, but it's not. There was hair in the shower. The faucet was incorrect, that is, hot was cold and cold was hot. I could hear the neighbors laughing and then crying (it was pretty obvious that they were drinking). The refrigerator smelled like Indian food had gone bad in it for days. And the smell permeated my food which had to be disposed of. Also, there are no make-up wipes, and housekeeping threw out the ones that I brought. And there is no magnifying mirror. As I plan to visit Tallahassee regularly for a few years, I was hoping that this would be a regular haunt, but it will not be.

The room was not available when I arrived at 4pm- very unhappy with this inconvenience and others were also in the lobby waiting for rooms that were not ready. I will not stay here again

Do your research before booking this hotel and pay attention to the negative reviews. I do not recommend staying here if you are a light sleeper. The walls are paper thin and housekeeping likes to start at 6am and have full conversations with themselves from room to room. There is also a train nearby, which passed several times. Cleanliness and overall upkeep of the hotel was very poor. There was a huge spider web in the corner of my room and dust bunnies under the luggage table. The bathroom door had come off its hinges and toilet paper roll was hanging on for dear life to the wall. Full-size bottles of bath products were not present. The room descriptions are not as described. I booked a suite and was given a studio. I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for the front desk to move things around from a room with only an arm chair to a couch. I have read on other sites that other customers shared the same problem. There is no restaurant food available from 10am-5:30pm, so if you're coming in from another time zone you probably won't be able to get food during your normal meal time. I booked this room based on the modern looking pictures and was highly disappointed. Based on previous reviews from others, this has been going on for a while and management probably needs to change.

I enjoyed the Hotel very clean, & the valet parking was a plus. The staff and the location was very nice.
