Residence Inn Tampa Sabal Park/Brandon

We were supposed to have a king accessible suite and they gave us a queen. We didn’t realize until we went up to the room after a concert and the hotel was already booked even though we paid in advance for our room. Our fire alarm kept going off so the front desk person came up and removed it to stop it from going off.

It was very clean, you see the cleaning staff working very hard each day cleaning. The breakfast was very good. Overall the hotel cleanliness was very good. They need to update their pictures. No basketball court yet shows in images and is a reason I chose the hotel for 4 teenagers! The first night, the hotel had no water in the showers! After being at Busch Gardens 10 hours in July, showers we’re desperately needed and we couldn’t take proper showers. It was resolved the next morning but shouldn’t be happening.

There was hardly any water pressure. By time we came back from hot concert, there was no water. I caught bugs on counter and put into a bag and 3 fleas that were biting me. I gave to management next morning and they’d take care of

After one night stay. My wife and I left with what seemed like bug bites all over. Called hotel and was told the manager would get back to us, never heard back.

There was a cockroach to greet us in our room at arrival. The pictures online are very deceiving and it’s not quite as nice. There were cigarette butts in all the ashtrays at the pool. My allergies went crazy in the room. I also thought there was an oven in the kitchen but it’s just a two burner stove top. The kitchen staff was rude to my 10 year old son and should’ve come to me with any issues. I wouldn’t return.

Room was unwashed in particular bathroom had lots of hair and grunge, clear basic cleaning not conducted

The lay out for the room was great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing customer service, breakfast preparation, everything clean and excellent
