Flew in for a funeral and they said my reservation was already used. Long story short I had to pay for another room.

Vi var där med familjen. Läget är underbart, kunde inte varit bättre men servicen var under all kritik. För det första debiterade de mig för en extra natt och hävdade först att de gjort rätt. Sen var det ingen städning, poolen som utlovades var avstängd. Vi bad att få en handduk, dök aldrig upp. Kranen i badrummet fungerade inte.

the mattress was horrible lumppy and squeaky all the doors squeak. the body soap and conditioners bottles were empty. we locked our valuables in the safe we then were unable to open. It took them 45 minutes to come to the room to open apparently the safe battery died ☹️

Parking was a nightmare and we had to circle three times to get into the turning lane for the valet only garage. Even a Tampa Police officer who was helping for the nearby hockey game told us this was the worst valet in the city. We were given a key tag to scan in the morning when we were ready to leave. While checking in, we were told we would be getting our king size suite that we had reserved and I even explained that it was a birthday weekend away without the children so we were just excited about not having them, and wanted the big bed. Rob assured me that he understood and got me a nice room that was not a city view but a Bayview. We were surprised when we went into the room and saw that it had two queen beds. The room was somewhat clean as we are always meticulous about wiping things down anyway, but it was stuffy. My husband turned the AC to 65 to try and cool it down and the front room got icy cold but the back room did not. The mattress was too soft and we were sweating most of the night. Breakfast was delicious and exceptional! When we were ready to check out, we tried scanning the valet key tag and several times got an error and was told to go to the valet booth. We waited 20 minutes to speak to the attendant and then another 20 before our car was brought to us. Many of the guests were also feeling the frustration and some were even told that their car was ready through the app when in fact it was not. We will not be booking with Embassy ever again.

I was surprised at how dilapidated the property was. 2 of the 4 elevators were out of service, creating unreal delays trying to go up or down. The pool had been out of service for weeks according to staff. The shower was falling apart. We asked for extra towels several times before we ever received them. The sofa bed had sheets that were of highly questionable cleanliness. We paid for a Bay View, but the windows were very dirty. Overall, it was fairly disappointing stay....

In general hotel amenities and room were both great. However, there was a huge issue with elevators. The hotel has 4 elevators for guests. Two were down the entire 4 day stay waiting on parts. On one day, a third elevator was down completely with the last elevator experiencing issues as well. This was a terrible situation for a 20 story building. We were on 16th floor. It led to long wait times, 45 min at one point. The hotel offered to comp us one night, but then said there was nothing they could do since we had paid with *******. They gave us some additional Honors points which was of no help. Very bad experience.

I would not recommend this hotel. It’s definitely over priced for what it has to offer. It really needs to be updated & revamped. The service was sub-par & amenities were a joke. Two of the elevators were not working, which made the wait to get to our room on the 14th floor & to the lobby very extensive. The pool was out of service, which was not mentioned before we checked in. The offered another hotels pool for us to use, which was more than 3 blocks away. The room was a

Very dirty and no one came to clean our room. Cockroach in my luggage bag! When I asked for clean bath/hand towels they only had big ones left. Pool was closed due to filter down. Elevators broken and only had access to one with like 24 floors! Not at all what I expected and very disappointed in my stay.

I like the rooms, convenance,and cleanliness. I don't appreciate being forced to valet park and you get charged $40 for it. None of that was disclosed on the website or booking info. They literally drove my car 1000 ft and now on top of a $300 room, $50 damage hold, I have to pay another $40 for the only option they offer for parking. I also don't appreciate that from noon until we left the room to go to a game our TV's are not working. They keep glitching and freezing, so even though I paid an insane amount my TV's don't work. I've literally stayed at a LaQuinta inn and the TV's worked perfectly. I messaged the front desk and they did nothing about it, initially said N engineer would be up to my room to fix it. After 2 hrs no one showed up so I wrote again and was told their TV provider was aware of the issue. Ummm that's great but when is my TV going to work? They should at least offer to credit some of the room price because of the TV's not properly working.
