Nice place, very welcoming family, if I go back there I'd definitely go again, super recommended!

Deze homestay is heel erg de moeite waard. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn heel vriendelijk en vertellen van alles over de stad. s'Morgens hebben ze ons meegenomen om de opgaande zon te zien. Het eten is heerlijk en als je wilt mag je mee helpen om te koken zodat je ook leert hoe de gerechten klaargemaakt worden. De kamer heeft een eigen balkon met een prachtig uitzicht. We hebben een een rondleiding gehad om tempels te bezichtigen en het museum. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven.

Très agréable, jolie, et authentique chambre d’hôte, avec une vue magnifique sur la ville dommage que le ciel était couvert nous n’avons pas vu la chaine des Annapurna. Notre logement est très propre et un accueil exceptionnel, à notre arrivée ils nous offrent un thé finement parfumé aux épices. C’est un couple charmant, généreux et attachant, attentif à notre confort. Madame est un vrai codon bleu les confections de repas népalais divinement bon surtout les momos sont à tomber raide les meilleurs que nous ayons mangé au Népal. Les petits déjeuner sont aussi bons que les repas le tout pris sur la terrasse avec cette vue magnifique. Nous sommes reparties avec de beaux cadeaux et la bénédiction hindou. C’était un grand moment d’émotion. Oh ! oui ! bien sur nous recommandons cette maison d’hôte et nous mettons la note de 10/10. Bravo continuez !

Fantastic place to stay! Warm friendly family. Tasty meals Clean comfortable room Wonderful authentic town with fabulous old architecture and good local walks. We had an ensuite room with a private balcony. Amazing views. A seperate terrace for meals with fellow travellers and the family. Felt right at home! You must stay here!!

Firstly, I would like to reassure visitors that Nepal is safe for tourist travel. Horizon homestay is located in the very friendly and welcoming village of Tansen. Our hosts, Danishwar, Janistha and family were wonderful hosts, offering lots of information on things to do in the surrounding area, to great home cooked food and help with booking taxis. Our room was spotlessly clean with a veranda and excellent view of the mountains. It is well worth rising early to catch the sunrise. Thank you so much D & J for such a welcoming and texting stay.

This was just our best cultural experience in Nepal! We stayed 3 days with Janaki, Dhani, Abhi & Indu, and we immediately felt part of the family, as they are so friendly and welcoming. We had so many interesting chats and played Uno & mikados together - it was so funny! The view from the balcony is spectacular at sunrise & sunset. The breakfasts & dinners are good and plentiful, with varying options every day. They even offered us a goodbye gift, which really warmed our hearts. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Nepal. To the whole family: you’re more than welcome in our home in Belgium if you ever visit Europe! We will never forget you 🧡 Thank you for everything!
