Restaurant offerings were at the bar only, but were sufficient for a quick dinner. The morning breakfast on the weekend in the main restaurant was excellent. Hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. The ADA room accommodations were very good and helpful for our stay. Easy shower access and plenty of room for a walker.

The Hotel Don Fernando de Taos was a standout choice, offering a perfect blend of Southwest charm and modern comfort. The adobe-style architecture and cozy fireplace in the lobby immediately set a welcoming tone, making it feel like a true New Mexico escape. Between the refreshing indoor pool and the convenience of a hot breakfast each morning, the amenities added a lot of value to the stay, while the peaceful atmosphere provided a great place to recharge after exploring the nearby plaza.

The layout of this hotel with different buildings was unexpected. Dinner in the restaurant was terrible. (But the service was very good). My caesar salad had what seemed like warmed up chicken from a can or a vacuum seal pouch. My sons sandwich was not good. I had to take him to Wendys afterward. Disappointing food.

The hotel has a lovely old Southwest feel with attention to detail and comfort. Our accessible room was very spacious and had nice details like a privacy shade on the window in addition to the curtains, a walk-in shower with a fold-down bench, and a nice table with two chairs plus an easy chair.

Check in went very smoothly. The person checking us in was friendly and upbeat. The hotel is a gem. Centrally located and great rooms for the price.

Nicest place we have stayed. Super clean and friendly. Wish they had a hot tub, but pool was great!

Don Fernando has spacious rooms with plenty of towels and in room coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It is a very neat place and has potential. It needs some improvement. The door didn't close very well on the room and some people might not notice that and their room gets broke into. The room could have been cleaner. Spider webs in the corner, hair on the counter in the bathroom, mirror wasn't fully cleaned in the bathroom, the lamps and furniture was dusty, the shower corners and behind the doors needed some attention. We did like the layout of the room and enjoyed our stay. There is room for improvement.

Staff and room were both excellent. Restaurant is on site. The hotel fronts a main road with a traffic light directly in front of the hotel. Traffic is very noisy accelerating from the light, especially for a room close to the road. Take earplugs.
