霍利布什賓館(Hollybush Inn)

Such a very beautiful place with wonderful friendly staff and great food, tried different things to eat and all were excellent including breakfast which was amazing and kept me going all day. Rooms very clean and everything was very homely.

Very nice! We had stayed in 3 accommodations whilst doing this trip. This was the most expensive, but rather underwhelming. The evening food was OK - but nade up by the atmosphere from the bar and with the locals Although we had a great night - I felt it was rather overpriced in comparison to our previous accommodation. Would I stay again....... mmmhhhh not sure

This place is a gem situated in the lovely village of Greenhaugh near to Kielder Water. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the staff including the locals and the fire was the best we have witnessed for a long time. There was a great choice of real ales and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her wine. The menu had a good selection and the meals were very tasty including the breakfast. The bedroom was warm, clean, and tidy with the usual amenities and overall we had a great stay. We will be returning in the future.

We stopped overnight after deciding the day before to break our journey from Edinburgh to Darlington. Really pleased to discover the area; so beautiful and remote. Comfortable room (far room away from bar) but it was the food that particularly impressed us. I had fish pie (lovely smoked fish from local source and topped with sweet potato mash), husband had a 10oz steak, both great, and topped off by a salad (which we were reluctant about getting, but so pleased we did). Shared starter of minestrone soup (would have been too much for one, lots of chunky veg) and also shared a sticky toffee pudding. We saw lots of other interesting dishes going by for other diners. Must return for a longer stay. Thank you chef and the team for such a warm welcome and good service.

Amazing B&B , a very warm welcome from the staff and locals, in an outstanding area , very close to Kielder Forest and water. A roaring open fire welcomes you when you arrive, we stayed in the GateHouse room which was stunning, very big , very clean and extremely comfortable, two beautiful windows with stunning views, the pub it’s self is beautiful, and the food was amazing, every staff member looks after you , it also has a stunning beer garden with stunning views. We can not wait to go back.!!

I had a wonderful weekend stay over Easter 2024 while motorcycling in the forest. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well equipped and the food was excellent. The location worked well, being very quiet and rural. I’ll be back soon for a more relaxing stay.

Lovely cosy country pub with comfortable rooms and restaurant and an outside seating area at the rear of the property with beautiful views. Stayed midweek for 2 nights and had a lovely break. Good range of ales at the bar as well as a good gin selection. Breakfast was really tasty, as was the food in the evening, although the menu could have been a little more varied. The staff and locals were very friendly and Hamish, the young barman from New Zealand, was a real character.! All in all a lovely place to stay, with beautiful surrounding countryside. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

The accommodation was excellent, the room was very spacious, warm and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Both evening meal and breakfast were excellent, superb quality and fresh. Ideal for visiting the observatory at Kielder or Kielder in general. My son and I loved every minute, so peaceful. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Thank you Lynne for making us feel very welcome, we loved our 2 night stay at The Holly Bush. Our room, The Gatehouse, was fantastic and the bed was very comfy. We ate at The Holly Bush on both nights and the food was simply amazing, complements to the chef and all the staff.
