博蒙特公寓酒店(Beaumont Apartments)

Location was great. Easy walk to The Mount and the beach. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Could have been more generous with toilet paper, bin liners, and soap provided in the room, but I guess if we asked management for more it would have been provided. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

The original apartment we were given did not match the online description or pictures, very small and disappointing. I went and had a chat with reception about this. Some rather unclear excuses were made but they did change us to an apartment like the one pictured on the app. This apartment is almost twice the size of the other apartment and had the features described. I was happy we ended up with what we paid for but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Very happy in general with the apartment and the complex it is in. Good location.

The apartment was very cold. Minimal heating and poor overall. I would not recommend this apartment if l were asked. Bdrm door can not fully open and felt very closterphobic. Luckily we found an electric blanket on the bed so turned them on and had a very early nite.

lacking customer service vibe with front desk personnel both on the phone prior to arrival and on arrival! having stayed previously, this was a little disappointing. Property itself great though Had booked Ocean View x3 rooms to find 1 was ground floor! not willing to accommodate though had paid for ocean view. Overall stay satisfactory though.

Value for cost poor. Very basic unit. Table sticky and dirty. Smelt of smoke when we entered. Left windows open but smell still present Can opener didn't work. Lovely receptionist said she would replaced - but did not happen for us. Tiles in bathroom very slippy when wet. Very slow wifi. TV turned off channel after about 40 mins (only using channel one- not a pay channel) Will not have this on our happy to return list.

Excellent property. Just one criticism is that the internet connectivity was poor. Unfortunately I was unable to work unless I hot spotted to my phone.

The Beaumont Apartment complex itself was very nice, however the ‘luxury’ apartment was very far from it. Very dated with bad appliances, and the apartment smelt old and musty. Nothing like the photo on booking which is misleading. For the price per night, very disappointing. I would stay at the Beaumont again, but would request viewing the apartment before accepting, or at least see which apartment was allocated with the booking. The furniture was dated and mismatching and far from luxury!

The Beaumont apartments were great. It was very clean and located in the perfect area. With an ocean view and close to the restaurants. When I am visiting Mount Maunganui again, I would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointing that in the current climate that they would refuse evena partial refund on 2 nights of a 5 nights stay when circumstances had changed and needed to check out early. Will not stay here again when I travel back to Tauranga for business in the future.
