Coconut Beach was unlike any experience I have ever had before. The staff there (Phillip, Betta, Massey, Apy, Josh, Sulu, Vata, Ben...too many to mention, honestly), they were ALL incredible. They will forever live in my hearts. The rooms were perfect; only an iguana here and there, NO BUGS at all, which seemed crazy to me since the idyllic showers and bathrooms were indoor/outdoor. Every morning, Casa was there to instruct yoga on the beach which was a spectacular way to start the day. There was such a place of calm there; everyone genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs and people. I got my Open water dives done with Faustine and she was AMAZING. She made me feel super safe and really stressed the importance of safety. She and Mike clearly love diving and it shows in the dives. Their passion makes you excited! The grounds were beautiful. The drinks were delicious. The food, was outstanding! Service was impeccable. I would give Coconut Beach Resort a 15/10 if I could. I found joy there. I will always be grateful for that. If you are reading this review you may be looking for a place to stay in Fiji – I fully recommend that you stop your search now and book a bure at Coconut Beach resort. My wife and I had a wonderful 7-night stay and were made to feel part of the family, both by the staff and the community of fellow guests. Lots of joy, music, beach walks, superb snorkeling, wonderful food, romantic dinner on the beach, sunrises, sunsets, the Milky Way at night, and a very comfortable room to rest. But most of all the friendly staff – particular thanks to Vata, Masi, Api, and Ann. We had a superb vacation. Also full credit to the owners as such wonderful care and hospitality starts at the top.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Coconut Beach Resort. First and foremost was the amazing staff - they were kind and friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They proudly shared their culture with us in many ways - they sing beautifully too! The location was perfect, fairly isolated and directly on the Blue Lagoon and its beautiful shades of blue. We enjoyed being able to snorkle at their Marine Reserve, directly off the beach. Quite impressive! We loved that it was a small resort: we got to enjoy the peace and quiet, while being offered many activities to choose from. We especially liked Quiz night! We had the privilege of celebrating the New Year with the staff and their kids: they made it truly special with a special meal, props, a talent show and fireworks! We had a very nice seaview bure, with gorgeous views through the louvers which kept the room well-ventilated. Loved the semi-outdoor bathroom and shower. The meals were generous and they readily accommodated us with variations even if it was a set menu.

Long time coming, so here it goes. We visited CBR, as a couple, in September 2023, for a week. We stayed in a Beach Bure and a Garden Bure. The resort has limited number of rooms called bure and booking was smooth, made thru their website. They have handled everything, including helicopter transfer, payment being done thru the resort itself. It has a mandatory meal plan, as there is not other place where you can eat. Before going, I have read that some people did not have enough food, so we bought a big bag of small stuff to eat from the airport, but on getting there, we have noticed that the food is actually a little too much, in terms of quantity for us, very big portions, with fresh products, so top notch. Being on an island, drinking water is an issue, but they have a high end filtration system and you just need to ask at the bar for refills. You can also purchase bottled water from the bar. Internet doesnt work, except some week WIFI at the reception, making it a relaxing vacation. I did scuba diving, as they have a PADI center and I cannot recommend enough Anne- Sophie. She has all the skills for a trainer, being very patient and empathetic, taking in consideration all possible hazards. So if you are a newbie or want to try for the first time scuba diving, she is the go to person. Sadly, I am very bad with names, but all the people at the resort were very attentive and careful with us and we felt like home, or better said like a home away home. I received from the Head bartender a Fijian SULU, which I will wear when coming back. They have a wide variety of activities, some free some paid. Some tips: On the resort side, in September was very windy with very low tide so a lot of algae , go on the side of the island.

Beautiful place, beautiful people! I had the fortune to stay here when it was somewhat quiet, which meant I could spend more time with the amazing local staff who are all so happy to share their culture. My personal highlights were the two village visits and all that came from it (fantastic presents for loved ones at home and best souvenir ever for myself) as well as joining into the Staff Christmas party kava ceremony. The staff really are the best here, always working hard to make your stay memorable, but most of all singing and playing music with full warm hearts. The snorkelling here is absolutely amazing, there are many different sites to visit. The bures are clean and decorated with fresh hibiscus and frangipani blossoms daily (love it!) and the food is absolutely delicious. There is a little wellness hut with a range of treatments which were brilliant. The beach and all of the nature here is incredibly beautiful, making your heart sing all day long. From the moment we were greeted on the beach with singing, introductions to the entire staff, a fresh coconut to drink and a “welcome home”, we were treated to a tropical experience like none other. After a brief questionnaire we were served the first of many gourmet meals. Each and every meal was a fine dining experience, with no chance of ever going hungry! The calls to meal times and events were drummed on the Fijian “lali” to announce to guests that it was time to gather under the peaked breezeway of the main building with the exception of tea time at 4:00 p.m. Coffee and tea was available throughout the day but was especially good at tea time when it was accompanied by freshly baked coconut muffins and brownies, just to name a few. The extensive library on site with games and books was also a great way to enjoy the warm afternoons on lounges and chairs surrounded by a slight breeze. Staff were detail orientated from the booking of excursions to the fresh flowers throughout the room each day. The long white sandy beach (raked by staff daily), allows for swimming and snorkelling mere steps from the shoreline. The individual bungalows included a small fridge supplied with water. The open air bathrooms were a delight with small plants and shells lining the path to the shower and Pure Fijian products, such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The intimate feel to the entire resort gave us the opportunity to meet people from all over the world as we enjoyed nightly entertainment and shared excursions. Staff and the owners are very attentive and refer to each guest by name, which creates a feeling of familiarity and really does make one feel at ‘home’. We truly appreciated the day to day conversations with Sheung and Alex and felt like we were leaving family when it was time to go. We really loved the 5 days we stayed at Coconut Beach Resort and hope to return someday to this super-friendly resort in such a wonderful country. The location is beautiful, the entire facility is welcoming and most of all, the host and staff are absolutely fantastic, ensuring you have a great time. The small size and isolated location of the resort is what makes it special. During the various activities, at mealtimes, and throughout the day at the property, you get to know the entire crew as well as most of the other guests staying there concurrently. Our beachfront room was very nice. We liked the large bathroom with its outdoor shower. The restaurant and bar were casual and friendly and the food was all very good. We spent a lot of time snorkeling on the excellent house reef, a marine sanctuary not very far off the beach. It is in great condition with a multitude of corals in every color of the rainbow and plenty of marine life. We greatly enjoyed all of the daily activities/excursions. Visiting the village schoolchildren and church, snorkeling in the cave and at other reefs, and hiking to the top of the island were all fantastic. The guides/boat drivers were all well-skilled and very familiar with navigating the reefs around the islands. It was easy to be as social as you might want, both at the afternoon tea and the nightly happy hour when some of the guides and restaurant staff entertained guests with guitars, ukes, an upright single-string bass and amazing singing. Visiting the Yasawa Islands and Coconut Beach was a wonderful part of our monthlong holiday in Fiji. The resort was exactly what we envisioned a remote island resort should be – small size, great scenic location, friendly staff, nice accommodations, wonderful food, and enough optional activities to keep you as busy as you want, or not. Our only concern at all, and not just here but on the mainland coral coast, was mother nature delivering intense winds blowing continuously for too many days.

We arrived at Coconut Island and after having been to manta island and Kuata island, we were really surprised by this place. Anne and Richard (Managers) do an amazing job of giving you the best stay. They are extremely flexible to accommodate your wishes. Api and Phillip take care of your daily needs and are always there for you. This place is really breathtaking. We went scuba-diving, stand up paddling, did a trip to the local village, and went for the blue whole. As this place only has a few rooms, the resort is really quiet and you can do your walks on the beach alone. Same for stand-up paddling. We went for the sun set on the boards. Its you, the reef, the beach, the palm trees, and if you are lucky a very small black tip swimming along😊 At night this place gets crazy for stargazing. We have been to lake Tekapo in New Zealand, which supposedly is the best place to watch stars but this is even better!!! We were doing the Beach dining. Two guys playing guitar, torches in the sand, and a starlit sky. We will never forget this amazing experience!!! Now getting to the place: The staff cleans the beach every morning (sea grass). You can just take canoes, snorkeling gear, and SUPs whenever you like and go for a trip. Be careful with the tide. Sometimes the reef is just half a meter below you should be experienced. When you fall, you might really get hurt from the reef. There is a sand beach for swimming. We both are enthusiastic scuba divers saw many incredible underwater creatures including turtles and lots of Nemos😊 Their Scuba diving gear is in really good condition. I think we never saw such high quality of gear at any rental place and we have been scuba diving in many places. Their diving boat is new and in really good condition as well! The huts are really modern considering that you are staying at a remote location. The outside shower and bathroom are state of the art. This place doesn’t need a pool! We stayed four nights at Kuata island and never saw someone using their pool. All of them are salt water pools anyway. Negatives: Insects. It doesn’t matter, which place in the yasawas you stay at. You will have insects in the room. We always booked the highest categories at Manta Island, Kuata island, and Coconut. Everywhere did we have insects. It is normal for the Fijis! This place did the best job of containing them. They always place flowers on the bed, which is a Fijian thing but staff doesn’t know that most people coming to these places don’t like Ans in their bed. We removed the flowers every day as soon as possible as there were always some insects around the flowers. Food. If you arrived with the yasawa flyer you have probably seen all the food supplies they carry around. These Island are very remote. Therefore, their food supply and quality is lacking. They do a good job of creating good meals but do not expect a European restaurant dinner. Again, Coconut Island offered us the best food out of all three resorts we stayed at (Manta, Ku
