索塔梅泰希酒店(Sota Metekhi Hotel)

Заселились в отель в начале 11 вечера 07 мая, хорошо успели принять душ. После 11 произошло отключение электричества во всем отеле. До пол первого ночи персонал громко хлопал дверями, видимо пытаясь завести генератор, о чем мы догадались по ужасно громким звукам рядом с нашим номером на 4 этаже. Ребенок с мокрой головой, естественно фен не работает, кондиционер не работает без электричества. Ночью спали в одежде в шапках и кофтах с капюшоном. Даже когда кондиционер работает в течение часа температура в номере не поднимается, т.е.смысла от кондиционера не было. Очень холодно!!! За ночь простудили шею. Утром не было и горячей воды. Хваленый завтрак состоял из засушенной яичницы, сосисок и заветренных закусок. Кофе растворимый с сахаром по умолчанию в общем кофейнике. Чай из пакетиков. Единственное, что было съедобное, это творог и сметана. Причем, обратите внимание, что стоимость чудо завтрака не входит в стоимость проживания, оплачивается отдельно. Бассейн не работает, в нем ремонт и разруха. Сотрудники прокомментировали это как «подготовка к лету». При этом, нигде на букинге нет информации о том, что бассейн работает не круглый год (хотя помещение полностью крытое). Единственный плюс - это большой номер с отдельной полноценной кроватью для ребенка. При этом двуспальная кровать состоит из составленных двух односпальных с отдельными матрасами. Это отель не 4 звезды, по европейским меркам это максимум 2.

Stayed for 2 nights and both nights we all had a good sleep. Bed was so comfortable and they provided extra pillows too. The rooftop pool was nice too but very chilly in the late afternoon and night.. sauna was available at the roof top too which was helpful In warming up after the cool soak in the pool. Breakfast was available but there were no labels and staffs also don’t know which one is not pork (as we are Muslim), so me and my family were left to just have eggs and the tomato/cucumber slices, pancakes on the second day were burned too (shouldn’t have served them to guests).. no fruits available in their breakfast too, juice available was only one so no choices for the kids. Giving this hotel 7/10 for the cleanliness and efforts but there’s lot of room for improvement specially it’s a 4star hotel. In our suite the AC was only on in the sitting area and not inside the bedroom we had to open the window inside the room (good the weather was nice and windy).

Definitely recommend!!!!! 👍 I asked the staff in advance to provide the quietest room, since we spent 2 days on the road and were very tired. We asked for a 3 bed room. The staff provided an upgrade and put us in a Luxury room . 🥰 The room has a fresh renovation, towels, bathrobes, slippers, dental supplies, all of good quality. Our holiday went off without a hitch thanks to the kindness of the staff. If you want to stay in good conditions, but with a Georgian flavor, you are definitely here. 👌 I am very glad that my favorite hotel appeared in Tbilisi. Before that, we always stayed at the Ambassadori, but it is a large European level, it has no soul. And here is the very best example of Georgian colorful pastime… ! ❤️

I stayed at the Sota Metekhi Hotel for five nights with my husband and two boys in August 2022. We all thought the hotel was very good. Things did start out badly, as we had booked airport transfer from the hotel but nobody came to pick us up. That was the only glitch, though. We took a taxi to the hotel and were quickly checked in. We had booked two double rooms, one of which was on the third floor of the main building. The other was in a separate building across the courtyard. The rooms being so far apart wasn’t terribly convenient, but it was due to us booking different category rooms, not realising they couldn’t be next to each other. Both rooms were nicely furnished and equipped with a fridge, safe, TV, A/C, tea/coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers. The room in the side building also had a kitchenette and was quite spacious, the other less so. The beds were comfortable. Both bathrooms looked newly renovated and had good showers. A nice range of toiletries were provided. There are a very nice rooftop pool, a sun deck with loungers, and a small sauna as well. Pool towels are provided free of charge. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the centre of the old city. There are several shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was buffet style and consisted of tea/coffee, fruit juice, watermelon, bread, butter, cheese, jam, honey, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, and several local dishes and salads. It was quite good, though I didn’t like the bread. It was very dry, even when toasted. The coffee was very good. I warmly recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable and it was very nice to come back from a day exploring the city, go for a refreshing swim in the pool and then relax on the sun deck. We would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I spent three days in Hotel Sota Metekhi. We really liked the hotel, newly renovated, clean, crystal clear, with pool. The room is quite large and with a view of the river and the mountains. The room is also clean and with facilities. Delicious and varied breakfast. Those who want to spend their vacation in Tbilisi, I recommend this hotel to everyone, especially those who want a deep sleep at night.
