The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. Easy to walk to town and Milford Sound day cruise departures. Great tourist advice. Parking fine. Do understand that our spacious room is not the same for all. A peek into another showed a much more compact arrangement. Breakfast was a cereal, white toast/jam, and yogurt operation, but we supplemented in the romm to meet our tastes. Extras - like omelets - were available for extra $.

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es war sehr feucht und hat auch so gerochen. Das Bad ist neu, bietet wenig Abstellfläche. Ansonsten sauber und ruhig. Das inkludierte Frühstück hatten wir nicht genutzt. Das Zimmer selbst hat keinen Kühlschrank. Es gibt aber die Möglichkeit, die Lebensmittel im Gemeinschaftskühlschrank zu lagern.

If we hadn’t already paid in full we would have left as soon as we walked in. No welcome when we arrived. Room was clean but the bed was so well worn it wasn’t funny. Plus it was a queen not a king. Walls very thin and a view of a fence out the window. Breakfast such as it was closed at 8:30am. Staff in the kitchen were rude. This is more of a backpackers. Wish we had read the reviews before booking.

A lovely location, a short walk away from the breathtaking views of Lake Te Anau and beyond. The room was lovely and the staff were lovely! As it was off season, we were the only ones on site for the duration of our stay. There was laundry on site, a nice and airy living/common space, the kitchen was available for most of the day, so you could borrow cutlery and plates as required, use the communal fridge if you needed. The staff were so kind too, happy to help you plan your day or find your way around town. I would definitely stay again.

just spent two nights at Shakespeare's house while visiting Milford Sound and the glowworm caves. The accommodation was well presented, clean and comfortable. The hosts were full of knowledge and happy to pass on many tips. Would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Disappointing Check-in was good. Room was very small, which was not a problem. It was very clean, but poorly equipped. The room was for two people, but there was only one chair. There is no air conditioning, and portable fans are not available. Wi-Fi was fantastic!
