Travelled for a 2 night business trip. They did not provide milk so had to go out and get my own milk from the store. Housekeeping was a bit slack as I found hair in a drawer and some dirt on the floor in the bathroom. They had not topped up the supply of coffee and tea. Other than that, the room was well presented. Just by the way, we were awoken at 4:20am by the Fire station siren which most likely woke up the whole town!

Conveniently located at the entrance to Thames. The gardens are beautiful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and reasonably comfortable but not very sound proof. Our room was located upstairs. Road noise was audible as were the noisy children next door. The kitchen was spartan with only a microvave oven. If staying with children request a ground floor room that has ranch sliders opening onto the garden and easy access to the pool.

A large one bedroom apartment with every facility. Spotless and very friendly staff. A bit of a stroll to the restaurants but not enough to worry us. There is a small pool. I’d suggest painting it light blue not dark as it looks ominous! The high street is full of shops and bars but everything closes early so be aware. There only seems to be customers early morning. Where is everybody? Very pretty old town though with a great coastal walk.
