阿瑪利亞酒店(Amalia)

A hotel frozen in time, somewhere around 1974. See photos. It feels like being in a film set. The hotel staff have a challenge. Which they deal with in a charming way. The hotel is not comfortable, the shared areas unwelcoming, beds too small with hard mattress and concrete pillows. Having said all this, it has a certain disarming quality.

We’ve traveled to many places & stayed at many hotels. Amalia Hotel has the best staff we’ve ever experienced. The front desk, bell staff, breakfast crew, and maids were all amazing! So helpful & accommodating. The provided breakfast was amazing. The room was large & comfortable with 2 twin beds pushed together. Our balcony overlooked the busy Amalias Ave and the amazing gardens. While busy with traffic during day we found it did not interrupt our sleep.

The location is excellent; just round the corner from Aristotle Square. Clean & comfortable room, but use the mosquito repellant plug in kit, tablets supplied👍The room is small; the shower even smaller! The receptionists are really helpful & friendly. Hardly any storage for clothes & stuff.Thankfully, there is a lift! Ouite good for a 2 star hotel! There are a lot of places to eat around the hotel; a mezze restaurant across the road is excellent & opens till late!

This is a budget hotel at a good location and with good wifi and very clear rooms. IF you are not after a luxury room and just want a simple comfortable and clean place to sleep, this hotel is a good choice in my view.

The beds are extremely small and very very firm, almost like sleeping on the floor. Tiny bathroom that floods when you take a shower. The view from most rooms is the roof tops of buildings and nothing beautiful to see at all. If you want a good nights sleep after long days of touring, this is NOT the place for you.

J’y ai passé 3 nuits à l’occasion d’un week-end avec des amis en juin 2022. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Chambre propre, confortable et calme. Parfaitement situé. J’avais un petit balcon avec vue sur mer. Personnel très aimable et disponible.
