I booked this hotel for the spa and sauna but it was under renovation but was still being advertised. It's more expensive than other hotels and I can't understand why.

Lovely location with a good view of parts of Thimpu. The hotel is beautiful and include tasteful furnishings. The dinner menu is varied, so there are lots of options for dinner. Spacious and comfortable room with nice dècor. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd stay there again.

J ai une très belle chambre spacieuse avec une très belle vue. Le dîner était trop bon le petit dej l était encore plus sans parler de l excellent service ils sont tous souriants agréable. Petit incident hier en arrivant on voulait se reposer mais y avait trop de bruit ils ont décidé de faire des travaux mais ils ont arrêté dès que je me suis plains à la réception chose que je ai beaucoup apprécié. Un très bel hôtel excellent service je le recommande

Located at the heart of Thimpu, the suite possesses a luxurious & spacious design. Osel has exquisite F&B facilities, a chill cafe and an amazing bar with an extended list of cocktails. I was highly impressed with their friendly and polite staff. The porch provided a great view over the capital city and it's landscapes of the surrounding valleys. Dogs barking at night? No problem, plug in your airpods and you're all set. Special thanks to Kuenga for his generous hospitality. I recommend Osel without reserve!

I was impressed by the staff's communication and attentiveness- I never had to ask when meals were, where to get something, wifi password, etc. They anticipated our questions and were ready to help. I loved having the option of a cafe with smaller meals, snacks, coffee drinks and gorgeous desserts AND the restaurant with a wide range of meals. Both also had professional staff and delicious, well presented food. We had a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains surrounding Thimphu. Very spacious room. I'll definitely come back for another stay and have recommended it to my friends!

Первый отель на нашем туристическом маршруте по Бутан 🇧🇹. В целом просторный отель, в архитектуре которого соблюдены национальные особенности. Просторные номера, с большой ванной комнатой, много деревянных элементов (полы, дверные и оконные проемы), в номере предусмотрен чайник и к нему пакетики чай/кофе и сахар, в ванной есть душевые принадлежности (гель, шампунь, крем). Окна в номере, можно сказать панорамные, но не со всех сторон открываются хорошие виды. В ванной не понравился встроенный душ в стенку на определенном уровне, что не очень удобно для высоких людей. При отеле есть ресторан и еще ниже уровнем кафе-караоке. В ресторане у нас был предусмотрен завтрак и ужин, из предлагаемое ассортимента блюд, вполне реально сытно и вкусно покушать, при этом с утра можно было завтракать на террасе в лучах утреннего солнца. Во время пребывания в отеле не работал spa-room, на стойке регистрации предлагали записаться в соседний отель.

The hotel is blessed with courteous staff esp Mr Om Nath and his restaurant staff. They provided us with VEGAN meals. The housekeeping staff is equally good. There was a mini market in the neighbourhood which is a good feature. Generally we are happy with the hotel. We wish the staff all success in life..

The stay at hotel OSEL at thimpu was just amazing This hotel is a nice hotel the staff there was very courteous the rooms were also neat and clean so was the bathroom.The food was also good there was a great spread.The hotel is situated at a sight from where the shops also close by. I would recommend this hotel for stay.Mr Omnath, the manager at OSEL is a great person very helpful and always welcoming and approachable.

Friendly reception and reasonsbly good food. The breakfast spread is limited. The bread is thick and hard. Fruits are limited to 2 items namely cut apple & watermelon. Service at the restaurant is very good with attentive waiter. Our room toilet was not properly cleaned when we checked in with stains on the lid and toilet bowl left by previous occupant that was not properly cleaned. No toothpaste & brush provided. Wooden floors creaks badly.

오셀 호텔은 부탄을 방문하는 관광객들뿐만 아니라 출장자들도 즐겨 찾는 호텔로 객실 상태가 깔끔하고 좋으며 스텝들이 친절하다. 시내 중심 타운에 위치하고 있어서 차가 없어도 돌아다니기 좋다는 큰 장점이 있다. 팀푸의 밤문화를 즐기기도 좋은 위치일 뿐아니라 바로 앞에 큰 마트 (My Mart)가 있어서 편리하고 호텔 근처에 부탄 유일의 한국식당이 위치하여 한식당에서 밥먹고 걸어오기도 편한 위치있어서 한국인의 입장에서는 더할 나위 없이 좋은 호텔이다.

This hotel was a last-minute substitute for another property under renovation, but I"m glad that it was. The staff was super-accommodating (the charming front desk trio of Sangita, Neeta, and Manita were inquisitive about my travels without prying), the restaurant folks were willing to bring dinner to my room so that I could work (alas, it was vacation in name only), and the room itself was clean and well-stocked with necessaries. The one complaint -- which apparently applies to all Thimphu hotels -- is that the local dogs decide to hold an conversation around midnight. But after an hour or so, they quiet down. Osel was a great hotel for my few nights in Thimphu. I highly recommend it.

Reviewing basing on this being a 4star hotel. Stayed here for one night. The hotel is not a ‘modern style’ hotel but that is probably not something you want when traveling to Bhutan. It’s feels a little dated and the corridors is dimly lighted. Regarding the room and facilities I would say it’s ok . But service wise, it’s fantastic . Especially in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner. The food can run out pretty fast due to a tour group. But the service staff are attentive, friendly and generally provide very good service .

It was awesome room view and service. Food was also good they provide what we require according to it. Location is very good and center of city. Good restaurants to enjoy near by all the places. They have bath tub in the rooms that is bit small for couples but good.

A tidy hotel if a lot underused. We were only one of about 3 groups staying the night. The hotel is close to the centre of Thimphu and within easy walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean tidy and comfortable with all facilities required
