Tashi Yoedling

C’est une bel hôtel et son emplacement est bien placé mais le service assuré par le personnel qui est très aimable et serviable pourrait être plus constant vu qu’il s’agit d’un 4 étoiles. Pour la même raison, le petit-déjeuner pourrait être un upgrade : le café est en poudre, les jus de fruit sont en bouteille, le pain est toasté et la confiture est industrielle. La chambre est grande et très agréable. Par contre le service en chambre pourrait être plus constant car certains jours la chambre n’est pas faite à notre retour le soir, soit il manque des nouveaux éléments (linges,…). Cependant quand on demande quelque chose à la réception les choses s’améliorent…

Das Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen, direkt gegenüber dem Thimphu Chorten, der nachts wunderbar angestrahlt wird. Vom Restaurant aus blickt man auf das reizvolle Thimphu Valley. Die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Buffet am Morgen und zum Dinner bietet eine große Auswahl. Auf Wünsche der Gäste wird gerne eingegangen. Alle Gerichte sind exzellent. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und immer ansprechbar. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen.

Nice hotel and wonderful warm welcome with tea. Great WiFi , good English spoken by staff who were very friendly and helpful. Located with view of the Chorten from the dining area. Food and amenities were nice. Just a bit of a shame that we could hear the street dogs barking at night.

A great location for access to the city. Room was fine when they provided a heater (which they forgot for the first night). Food was a mixed experience- very limited and you don’t necessarily get what you order. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Thanks to the hotel's prime location, excellent service, dedicated staff and delicious food, I had a fantastic stay at Tashi Yoedling and would happily return. I can't recommend this place highly enough; it's ideal for solo or group travelers. Heartfelt gratitude to everyone working at the hotel for such a warm reception.

Our motorcycle tour came here - well located opposite Memorial Stupa (some rooms overlook it). Service and facilities were very good. Has Bhutanese newspapers in English in the foyer (interesting to read about local issues). Breakfast could have been better.

Average hotel for a very inexpensive option. Nice location view—of National Memorial Chorten. Elevator broken. Food ok but nothing special. Staff tried hard to be helpful and kind. One light broken in bathroom, refrigerator broken.

Amazing stay! Right across the stupa. Gorgeous stunning views. Peace and calm at night. Beautiful clean rooms with good amenities. Best part would always be the staff. Thank you Acho Tandin and Surja for making my stay pleasant, your service is superb 100%

We stayed 3 nights at Tashi Yoedling in March 2023-about 6 months after Bhutan reopened to tourism following the pandemic onslaught. The rooms were freshly painted and refurbished during the pandemic, and were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Dogs were barking nearby all night long. Parking is very limited, but the location is near downtown shops and restaurants. There were several brief electrical outages and the hotel’s card reader stopped functioning when we checked out, which meant that credit cards could not be used for payment. Very inconvenient! The food in the restaurant was buffet style and good. Most outstanding of all was the service provided by staff throughout the hotel.
