廷布城市酒店(CityHotel, Thimphu)

Everything was good about the property, specially the staff was very courteous and helpful. However, two improvements are needed. 1. Breakfast timings should be upto 10 am and dinner timings upto 10.30 pm. 2. Bar upgradation is required in terms of variety. On one occasion only 2 choices of whiskey was available. Need to stock much more varieties, as Indians love whiskey.

Excellent hotel in centre of Thimphu. New hotel, spacious rooms & clean hotel. Restaurant ambiance is very good. Friendly staff. Very convenient near centre of Thimphu. Breakfast need improvement as well as dinner options. The terrace of the restaurant is best place to relax.

Our stay at City Hotel can only be described as delightful. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and high quality. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. We were three of us, but the arrangements for the extra person were all taken care of even before we landed in the hotel. That location of the hotel is really good as it’s in the middle of Thimpu’s shopping area. Overall, recommend the hotel for a family stay.

Lovely and comfortable hotel. Food is good. It is clean . Location is best to roam around walking in leisure time. I recommend this hotel. View outside room window is mesmerizing. Pema was a staff in hotel . She took very good care of us.

Very centrally located hotel and accessible to all tourist spots. A very friendly front desk staff. Good rooms and a very good Wi-Fi. This 3 star hotel but as per my travel agent Nature Wing it is a 4 star hotel. Food is excellent and the service is superb. Actually they were the first ones who offered us Bhutanese dish Ema Datshi. Apart from the Bhutanese fish, Indian and Continental food was also available. Ema Datdhi is made from chillis and cheese. The Kitchen staff need special mention for taking care of the interests of each guest.

The staff were excellent. Always helping and trying to make our stay better. Even though the occupancy was very less.

Nice hotel in city center, walking distance from city attractions. Rooms are large. Laundry service was timely. Employees were helpful and kind. Good breakfast.

The hotel is near the centre of Thimphu. It's a thoroughly modern hotel. The rooms are large and well equipped. I'm not sure which grade rooms we had as we were on a guided tour and so didn't do the booking. When we were there it was very cold for those two nights and we were provided with an electric heater for the room. Unfortunately our large room was on a corner with two external walls full of glass and very high ceilings - the heater couldn't really manage to keep us warm. We had extra duvets too and only just managed to keep warm in bed. Other people in our group managed to be warm enough in their rooms but ours (504) was definitely cold. That aside, the food was good and the location OK.

5 star hotel at 3 star prices!! Clean luxurious and excellent service!! Food is ok. You get only 2 small bottles of water per day……you pay for extra bottles!!! Not done! Thimphu is beautiful…people are very nice.
