亨吉福斯旅館(Hengifoss Guesthouse)

Bell’appartamentino in questa splendida guesthouse: letto matrimoniale e letto a castello, buon bagno. Cucina con fornelli elettrici. Letti comodissimi. Tutto pulito e perfetto. Bellissima sala dove far colazione. Proprietaria davvero molto gentile e disponibile.

Posizione bellissima, conduzione famigliare perfetta. Luogo pulito , accogliente , camere grandi con o senza bagno privato. Alcune con cucina. Colazione varia e buona , anche con torta alla cannella, mai trovata prima in Islanda . Ottimo per chi ha bambini, possono giocare fuori liberamente.

Super friendly family owned place that can be highly recommended! Spacious and very clean and nice rooms with cooking possibilities. Great breakfast with homemade bread, cake and jams. Lots of different beautiful spots in this area to discover.

Small reasonable rooms. Health spa a short distance away. RV hook-ups are popular should book in advance. The restaurant offered reasonably price food, but only prepared one menu for the week. The rooms were small but clean.

Das Hegifoss Guesthouse ist ein Familienunternehmen, geführt vom weiblichen Teil einer Familie aus dem Tal. Die Frauen sind freundlich, zugewandt, gesprächig und hilfsbereit (so wurde z.B. unsere Wäsche gewaschen). Die Zimmer sind geräumig und garantieren dank ihrer Lage nach hinten hinaus ruhigen Schlaf. Der Essraum ist mit der Lounge und dem Kaminofen ausgesprochen gemütlich, zumal bei dem besonders kühlen Wetter, das wir hatten. Zum Abendessen gibt es eine auf drei Gerichte beschränkte Auswahl, aber jedes lecker, wie wir an vier Abenden festellen konnten.

Great location near Hengifoss waterfall. We had small kitchen in the room so we could prepare own breakfast. Beds were comfortable room was decent size and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The whole place is pretty crowded because of camping site. Worth coming back some day.

We were a group of 3 families (6 adults and 3 kids) and stayed with Sigga and Helga for 4 nights. The rooms are quite roomy and impeccably clean. We all had our own private bathrooms, and my brother's family had a family room with a kitchenette that was quite well stocked. Sigga, Helga and their family are the most gracious hosts. They were always there and ready to help. Sigga noticed that me and my mother would bring our own gluten free bread or crackers to breakfast as we are both gluten intolerant and magically gluten free breakfast items appeared the next day! The large front deck is perfect if the weather is good and the surroundings are beautiful. The guesthouse is about 30 min drive to Egilsstaðir, we liked being outside of town as we were closer to a lot of the area's attractions and my 5 year son could run around on the playground and ****** on the soccer field while the adults enjoyed the nice weather we got on the deck. Thank you everyone at Hengifoss for everything you did for our family and for making our stay so pleasant!

Nice view from the room. Polite reception. Good breakfast. There was no TV in the room. Good price compared to other hotel. Όμορφη τοποθεσία και ωραία θέα από το δωμάτιο. Καλό πρωινό και καλή τιμή σε σχέση με άλλα ξενοδοχεία που έμεινα στην Ισλανδία.

My wife and I enjoyed staying at Hengifoss. The rooms were larger than average and we had sheep in an adjoining paddock for a view. We really enjoyed the restaurant / lounge area. We sat by the fire and chatted to another couple after dinner. Dinner was nice but the alcohol pours seemed a little stingy. I think the young Italian waiter seemed scared to .put a foot wrong. It was only a 6km drive to Hengifoss Waterfall which was a nice walk. All in all it was a comfortable stay.
