My home away from home. Delightful to visit again. As always, the staff were exceptionally helpful, the food was incredible and we were very comfortable in our rooms, the lounge and the spa.

We were treated to dinner and an overnight stay at the Thurlestone and the whole experience was excellent. We will certainly be returning there in the future.

Two nights here. Hotel staff were pitch-perfect. Breakfast was up there with the best. Evening meal was delicious. Well done, team Thurlestone. Looking forward to next time. Nothing is totally perfect……pillows were a bit too firm for us.

We chose this hotel on recommendation from family who stay here frequently and we were not disappointed . We were celebrating a special occasion and this was definitely the right choice , the staff made us feel like VIPs and their attention to detail is amazing , not once did they forget my food intolerance which was very reassuring . The hotel is a very relaxing place , the rooms are spotlessly clean and have every amenity you could wish for . Lastly Thurlestone is a little piece of heaven in Devon

The Thurlestone Hotel is nestled in the charming village centre overlooking the most beautiful stretch of English coastline, with sandy beaches and interesting coves. Having visited the village every year for holidays it is my favourite place in the world. Staying at the hotel is a treat from the moment the doors slide open - a warm welcome awaits and the long drive through the narrow lanes worth it. The hotel feels luxurious but homely at the same time. The staff are friendly, efficient and all clearly love their place of work. We stayed recently with our two well travelled dogs and thoroughly enjoyed the break. The views, surroundings, food and service was first class. We cannot wait to return.

This hotel is such a wonderful place, the view is stunning, the service is friendly and genuine and the food delightful. We haven't visited for three years and the standard has improved leaps and bounds, it really is a special place. There are plenty of facilities to keep you busy, golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to name a few. Food is of a very high standard and we enjoyed some great meals and the breakfast is spot on, we love that the plates are always piping hot. The staff are all wonderful, very polite and chatty. We were always acknowledged, even when things were a little busy, special mention to Petra, Imogen and William, along with the many other staff whose names we did't catch, honestly they really do make the hotel special. Housekeeping was immaculate, with all areas very, very clean, a pleasure to see. Daniel, the General Manager was always present and you can see just how hard he works to keep everything ship shape. It won't be too long before we return, a gorgeous break.
