蒂布龍小屋酒店(The Lodge at Tiburon)

Hotel is marketed on Trip.com website as being 3.5km from Sausalito (where we wanted to stay close to in Marine county) - it is actually 8 miles by driving (maybe 3.5 km by direct distance via water with no public transport) where's the truth in advertising Lodge is more like a slighly better end motel and not really a hotel or a higher end "lodge" (see pic) On check in, first assigned room has broken toilet, it was around 4 pm and the technician on site was "gone for the day" Changed to a second room, no major disfunction except the smoke detector was covered by a taped on white towel ( see pic) really weird. For the price it charged, close to USD 280 a night, it was really expensive - and one other surprise came after paying thru Trip.com was an addtional charge of around USD 28 of hotel fees that came afterwards at the hotel on top of the Trip.com payment. So it came as 2 separate billings and more expensive than what Trip.com marketed. And was there any service they actually offered for this ?

We had a great stay . Hot tub to Ourselves . Great location and a great view

Our room was dirty and our toilet didn’t work. We had to manually add water to the back tank to make it flush. Unfortunately we checked in late and our kids were asleep in our arms or else we would have complained. To be fair, we did not give the hotel an opportunity to correct the issues. These are issues that we should have never encountered at $300+ a night.

This place definitely feels more like a motel. Clean but very out dated. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was also very noisy. We could hear everything going on in the room next to us. Will pay more for an upgraded hotel next time.

Property was old and the room I was given had a slant throughout, felt like you were sleeping downhill.. Person at reception had no record of reservation, so we didn't get out ADA room. Upon checking out was charged for the wrong room and had to return and clarify the situation. The toilet seat had incorrect size also.. Not worth the amount of $$ we paid.

Horrible service! Front desk person, Jeff, was outside on skateboard & smoking just outside the door when we arrived. He told us he needed to have a cigarette so we would need to wait a few minutes to check in because he was “dying for a break”. Being allergic to smoke, this was a huge turn off already & the lack of hospitality was astonishing! This was a surprise trip for my husband. I had been to this hotel a few years ago & was mentioning some changes to my husband when Jeff started telling us nothing has changed there in years. I mentioned that the hotel website says it was updated in 2022. Jeff proceeded to tell us that it’s a lie & nothing has been updated in over 10 years & that the new owners don’t believe in maintenance so nothing is maintained & how much he hates it. Within our first 10 min there, my surprise moment was completely ruined& I was left feeling like I had just been ripped off as even the “welcoming” staff was telling me the reasons that we shouldn’t be there. So embarrassing! I was not given the bottle of wine for VIP. Jeff said he knew nothing about that. If the hotel isn’t actually going to give the listed VIP perks, it should be removed from the listing. Throughout our sat-mon stay, Jeff was either out on his skateboard & smoking or he was LAYING back behind the front desk looking at his cell & could not be seen. Lobby wreaked like cigarettes nonstop. Sparking electrical socket in room that burnt our charger. No offer to replace or even apologize

Nice location. Friendly staff (Jeff) I paid for a room with a balcony and did not receive the room that I had paid for. We were very disappointed because we brought our dog that needed to be outside at times but we were unable to do so without the balcony.
