I stayed here for an educator conference at Marshalltown High School. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The front desk staff were amazing and so helpful. The lobby had water, tea and coffee throughout the day. Fantastic breakfast offered in the mornings.

The property was new and gorgeous. It's in a great area. My only complaint was that the bathroom floor was dirty. I am not sure they cleaned it from the previous stay. Everything else seemed clean.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable and they allow pets and have a nice area to walk your pet.

This is our go-to hotel when we come to visit family in the area. It's always clean with friendly staff.

Great location. Beautiful property and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The only complaint we had someone stomping around in the room above ours at 3 am. Wish they would soundproof the ceiling but that’s a problem with all hotels. The Dove brand body wash, shampoo and conditioner was a very nice touch!

Amazing. We want to stay here every time we come back to our home town.

The rooms were newly remodeled and everything was fresh and clean. The breakfast was delicious!

The friendly staff and clean environment made for a pleasant stay

The hotel just complete a significant remodel and makeover. The rooms are bright and loaded with outlets and USB ports. The lobby is colorful and welcoming. Lots of work stations with power sources everywhere. The pool is nice size, unfortunately there is not a hot tub at this facility. The workout room is loaded with brand new equipment with fresh towels in booth the pool and workout rooms. There is an adjacent laundry room for hotel guests, cost was $0.25 per wash or dry when I visited.

Poor holiday inn express, better options in town. Not maintained well and they don’t clean rooms during stays and lack overall maintenance. A poorly managed ,hotel the bright spot was the help was great. Skip this one unless there isn’t another choice.

Nice hotel, that feels safe and quiet with plenty of parking. I would stay here again.

The accomodations we just what we needed after a long days bike ride on RAGBRAI.

We had a 2 queen, 1 pull out sofa room. It was roomy and the bathroom was a good size. The staff was nice and when we called that there was no bedding for the pull out they had it to us in less than 5 minutes. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Juice, sausage, 2 kinds, eggs, biscuita, gravy, fruit, cinnamon rolls, cereal, pancakes, coffee, and milk. My only complaint is they had 2 kinds of eggs made and both had cheese. Itd be nice if one was without for those who dislike it or have trouble with dairy.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel, from the moment that we entered the door until after we had left. The staff in front was informative and friendly and our check-in was quick. (We particularly liked the availability of a hotel cart at the door that we used to transport our many suitcases to our rooms.) Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, with a variety of pillows to choose from. I was disappointed that our accessible room had only one grab bar by the tub/shower, but at least it had one. The air conditioner in our room was also very loud, potentially making sleep difficult for one member of our party. Breakfast was better than most that I have had. I was almost as delighted by the tasty Denver omelets and cinnamon rolls as I was by the cleanliness of the entire breakfast area. It really was very clean; I commend the staff that made it so inviting. The helpfulness of the staff continued after our stay. When one of our party left something in our room, the hotel manager attempted to contact me multiple times, and we were able to arrange to have the item sent along to our destination so that it wasn't necessary to drive two hours back to pick it up. Bravo! If we pass near Marshalltown again, I would be happy to make another stay at this hotel!
