Das Hotel war sehr schön, dass Essen sehr gut die Angestellten waren wirklich sehr nett. Der Ausblick auf den See atemberaubend. Man kann hier abends von der Aussichtsplattform einen faszinierende vogelshow sehen! Echt der Wahnsinn. Kommen gerne wieder! Mückenspray nicht vergessen da der See direkt nebenan ist 😅

Ein kleines, feines Hotel. Ruhige Lage in wunderschöner Naturlandschaft. Ein außergewöhnliches Naturschauspiel kann man von der Dachtetasse beobachten. Jeden Abend fliegen tausende Flughunde von den Bäumen los und gehen auf Nahrungssuche. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Het hotel ziet er van de voorkant veel belovend uit maar er is veel werk om het achterstallig onderhoud weer netjes te krijgen jammer dat het niet bij gehouden word we hadden met ons gezin wel een erg grote kamer met een deur tussen de slaapkamers. De kinderen hadden een grote eigen badkamer met ligbad dat was heerlijk !

It’s a great hotel to stay, nice room with AC, swimming pool and with amazing views. The employees are very attentive, always asking if you need anything. Dinner and breakfast have little variety to choose from but it is very tasty and comes with a lot. I had curry for dinner and they brought me almost 10 different types of curries and for breakfast they brought me another 10 different dishes. Something to improve would be the extreme attention during lunch/dinner since the waiters would watch you eat and it is a little uncomfortable, but nothing that telling them wouldn't change. I recommend this hotel 100%

This Hotel was one of the best places I have been to - and I have been to over one hundred (100) countries. The room was immaculately clean. The breakfast was fantastic and at a reduced price. Plus, the lunch and dinner are wonderful because the Hotel's restaurant manages an organic farm. So, the fruits and vegetables are exceptional. The Manager was very pleasant and tries to meet all your needs regarding restaurants, tours, and transportation recommendations. Plus, the location was excellent, across the street from a beautiful lake and is very close to the YALA National Park with many wild animals to observe. I now understand why this Hotel is rated so highly in reviews! You will really enjoy your stay at The Rain Tree Hotel.

I stayed in this lovely lakeside hotel for a few nights in October 2023. The location is peaceful and surrouned by nature. You can go to the roof top area of the hotel to get a truly stunning view of the countryside around and the Buddhist stupa which glows golden in the evening light. At around 6pm you can also see the large bats flying around in the evening mists. The owner of the hotel , Upali, is often in residence and is so kind and attentive to his guests, and ready to tell many stories about the area and its history. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious, comfortable , with balconies looking out over the lake. The hotel is also ideally located to visit the Yala game reserve. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and I am looking forward to a return visit in the near future.
