富士旅館(Ryokan Fuji)

first time in Japan and we wanted to experience traditionally accommodation away from the noise of the Centre of Tokyo. The accommodation is immaculately clean and beautifully presented. We stayed for two weeks without any issues the nearest station is Koiwa which is convenient for central Tokyo ( 30-40 mins approx. ) but it made it part of our adventure, buy a Suica card and a JR pass and explore. plenty of local shops and restaurants to explore and a 7 eleven across from the guest house that is 24/7 and has an ATM. The owner is a very kind and devoted to the premised and was extremely helpful during our trip. this property is a hidden gem and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves, thank you for making our first time in japan special

Stayed only one night here due to miscalculations of length of stay with other accoms. To start with, the area is slightly misleading. We thought it’s only someone’s house! The front garden was lovely and well looked after. The receptionist was very helpful and most importantly speaks English. The reception area has enough space. Have to remove your shoes prior to coming in to the wooden floors. Very Japanese cultures that we also love. The room provided was spacious and so incredibly Japanese in style and feel. The tatami covered floors, the beds, lamps and tea table. The room’s toilet and bathroom was very clean and with basic amenities provided. We highly recommend this one!
