Insanely overpriced, dirty and terrible location
The inn is in an unsafe area of the city, we aren’t as familiar with Toronto so we had no idea.
The walls are paper thin, we could hear all of the movement of the people staying above us and were constantly woken up by the sirens outside all night which we found out was because the window doesn’t fully shut? So we heard everything outside all night and it made the A/C pointless
The building and the room were very messy, falling apart and in need of serious upkeep.
The rooms are tiny, comparable to a college dorm tiny. We paid $350 for one night in a room with a double bed that could barely fit our carry on luggage in the room. The bed was also uncomfortable so we had a terrible sleep for multiple reasons (noise, comfort, safety).
The emergency fire exit with stairs leading to outside was constantly open so couldn’t trust that at least whoever was coming in had to be seen by the front desk because they could come on in the side entrance.
Disappointed because I looked at the reviews and they were good. I never would’ve booked if I had a preview of the place before going especially for $350!!
