This is not a hotel yet it advertised as one The room was in horrid shape, broken windows all over, cardboard taped over broken windows, tape was holding the walls together and in very bad shape, looked like a huge Rave/house party had taken place and left that way Everything was damaged and broken Room was definitely not cleaned to a hotel standard. Half used bottles of shampoo and soap in bathroom, blinds were broken and fallen to the floor. DO NOT STAY HERE. Overpriced, horrible upkeep, dirty. Very spacious flat near Sick Kids hospital. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even had measuring cups! Very clean. We opted for an optional cleaning service every week and Barbara and her team were great !

Truly speaking the building and the reception was perfect. However, wish there could be someone as caretaker in the reception incase one encounters challenge with self check in she or he may assist.

We booked this stay for one of our staff members and she was very happy with the suite. She was pregnant and asked for there to be no chemicals or smells which the property accommodated. There was even a nice chocolate present waiting upon her arrival. Thank you for taking care of our staff.

My wife is suffering from Stage 4 Liver cancer, and as such once a month we need to make a six hour drive to Toronto for her to receive her clinical *****. Since March, we have been staying at the Canada Suite location on Bay St. My wife really liked it there because it was close to hospital. And for the most part we have been pleased with until recently. Six days before we were to come for our Sept. trip, I received an email from Canada Suites saying they needed to cancel my reservation because the landlord wants to take possession of all their rental units as of Sept. 01. I should point out that I had paid in full for my suite months in advance. Needless to say this cancellation only a few days before we were to arrive caused undue extra anxiety for my wife and I, as we needed to find accomodation elsewhere in a short period of time. I called my rep. at Canada Suites to inquire about what happened and he basically cut me off saying he had to take another call and he never did return my call back to me. It doesn't make sense that Canada Suites and the landlord would not have some kind of contractual agreement in place that would require an advance notice of a number of months from the landlord to say that they wanted their units back. I am always told by Canada Suites that just how busy they were and that many of their suites are rented out months in advance. So I am sure I am not the only one who were left out hanging . Not acceptable at all.

I don’t think I would have described my suite as “presidential” but it was clean and well furnished 2-bedroom apartment. The staff while not on location were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating with any requests or questions. The pool area and other amenities are in very good condition and exceptionally clean. This was a nice option to have a quiet room in downtown Toronto.

The property is located near many coffee shops, restaurants, markets, and bustling city life. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. Communication was excellent. Bed was super comfy and it was so convenient to have the kitchen for food and balcony to enjoy coffee and views of the city. Added bonus of the gym, pool, and jacuzzi (which were well maintained and enhanced our experience). We enjoyed our stay very much!

Do not recommend. We rented a one bedroom with sofa bed, but the sofa bed didn't have a mattress, so we upgraded to a 2 bedroom. Host is not accommodating, and the place was not very nice. Do not stay here.

We had a great time staying at Canada Suites. The location is great. It's about 10 min walk from U of Toronto and 15-20 min walk from Chinatown. Even CN tower is about 30 min walk. There are more dining options than we have time to explore. The neighborhood feels safe. We feel comfortable walking outside in the night. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. It's a great option for family traveling to downtown Toronto. Highly recommended.
