All in all it was so amazing weekend The only thing needed a refrigerator in the room otherwise everything was totally fine

Nice hotel on Nice location

Rang ahead to book our dinner slot. Have stayed here many times & like the older character of the building. Staff are always very welcoming on arrival. The hotel is literally across the road from beach, with bus stops either in to the town centre, or across the road to visit Paignton. The rain was lashing down/very windy during the night. We discovered a leak & called the Night Porter. Kevin responded immediately and organised a similar room, as a quick fix to the issue and came to assist us with move, etc. We were enjoying the pianist in the Compass Lounge on the Friday evening, when the fire alarm went off. Staff ushered us outside/across the road and we re-entered, once it was safe to do so. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant - very tasty! Looking forward to our next trip!

Hotel clean and tidy but looking a little tired. Restaurant choice limited and service on the Monday and Tuesday of our stay was poor. Not advertised as a Fawlty Towers experience but could well have qualified. Senior Staff for drection were conspicuous by their absence and when a manager did appear his input was ineffective to say the least. Our room on the 4th floor was uncomfortably hot, but a fan was available in the wardrobe.

The Parking was in the station car park, which is very close. Parking was free, (just filled a form in at Reception),which was great. We had booked a Sea view double room. It DID have a sea view but, it was on the 1st floor so the view was mainly of the roof of the bar. There were no other Sea view doubles available so we paid an extra £20.00 for a family room on the 3rd floor. Well worth the extra money as it much larger, with a balcony. Breakfast was included but, as we wanted ours in our room we paid an extra £6.00 for room service. The breakfast was brought on time and was hot and delicious. We used the pool, lovely towels were provided, this was all included in our stay. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi was out of action but, I'm sure that will be fixed by our next visit. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will be going back.

Fint hotel - har helt sikkert været “Grand” - lidt smidt i dag, men billigt og helt fint til prisen.

Lobby, reception, bar and dining room looks great. Very tired upstair passed first floor. Need touch up. Stayed in room 103. Shower not easy to use have to take it down to turn on and off, extraction unit not working. Hand rail only one can be used as other to close to wall. Room fine.

Lovely hotel in a great position with views of the sea. Considering it was low season, I was put in a corner room facing a wall. Dinner was a little disappointing- room for improvement.
