Tripple room A bit cramped. But beds comfy and clean. But ok, for a couple of nights. Bathroom ... we'll say was adequate, very, very tiny ... The shower was tucked right next to the toilet, which was only separated by a plastic shower curtain!

I had an outstanding stay at The Trouville. The host graciously upgraded our room to one bigger and comfier, informed us about the house keeping rules and also made sure we were aware that he would be on call if we needed anything else. The room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was well stocked and had a nice little view of the road with the colourful buildings. The location itself was perfect as everything was a near walk away which made it easier to find food and also head down to the Riviera. If you were planning on visiting Torquay again or like me visiting for the first time The Trouville is a great place to stay, I could not recommend it any more! The host started and ended our trip in the most positive and happy way and I would definitely stay again!

The room we booked in was rather smaller than I had imagined (my fault possibly for not checking the website...maybe). The host was very nice but gave the impression he wasn't really the owner; he was sort of detached/disinterested. He did not seem aware that I have paid half up front via *******, which seemed odd. The cooked breakfast was good, to be fair. It was stated that the cleaner was coming in on our second day and that towels would be removed. One was added; none taken away. No cleaning was visibly undertaken. The shocker happened on last morning when I went under the bed in search of something I had dropped. Never have I seen such a ***** landscape of accumulated filthy debris: a single flip flop, peanuts, an assortment of lost nails, small plastic bottles, the broken hooks of clothes hangers, and around twenty scrunched up tissues. Eeeew!

Very tiny room, approx 8 x 10 ft. Everything crammed together. Bathroom with tiny shower . Bathroom no bigger than a cupboard. Couldn't even dry yourself in there. Bed pushed up against a wall so both had to get out of bed at the same time .3 coat hangers on a makeshift stand jammed up against a window masquerading as a wardrobe. Mould in places on ghe walls. 4 different wall covering, Plaster rubbed from one wall in patches. Plaster dust on floor , dado rail and filthy skirting board.

Subi gave us the warmest welcome on arrival. He very kindly carried our luggage up the stairs to our room. He gave us lots of useful information about the area. Nothing was too much trouble! We did send him an email at 2130 requesting some help and he came to our room straight away to offer assistance. Clean and tidy room with various amenities plus private, off road parking. All in all, extremely satisfied! Would recommend and will be returning.

I stayed here for 3 weeks while I was waiting to move back to Plymouth and it’s the best BnB I have ever stayed in the owners are lovely and will do whatever they can to make your stay the best, the room I stayed in was a great size with everything you would expect plus more, the breakfast is amazing and always cooked fresh, the BnB is a 5 minute walk from the seafront, the BnB is always clean and fresh, it’s has a lovely atmosphere, I will be staying again in the future when I come to Torquay on holiday Thanks so much for my wonderful stay Toby x
