UXUA卡薩酒店及Spa(UXUA Casa Hotel & Spa)

O clima do lugar é delicioso. São várias casas localizadas em meio a vegetação com acesso direto ao Quadrado. Ficamos hospedados no UXUA Casa Hotel em janeiro de 2023, inicialmente no terraço do céu e depois resolvemos estender a estadia ficando hospedados na casa histórica: cerâmica. Cada casa possui uma alma própria, como descreve o site, cada detalhe é único e moldado por mãos habilidosas. O restaurante do hotel, UXUA Quadrado é delicioso servindo comidas frescas e bebidas deliciosas. Atendimento atencioso e acolhedor da equipe. O espaço para hóspedes do UXUA Praia Bar é confortável e com opções de comida e bebida que agradam aos paladares mais exigentes. A parte que não nos agradou foi a distância até a praia. Ficamos sabendo que o hotel disponibilizava transporte privado apenas após a chegada. Outro problema que enfrentamos na época foram os mosquitos. A quantidade grande de mosquitos, naquela época com caso de chikungunya, incomodou bastante meu marido.

O hotel é maravilhoso, os funcionários são muito atenciosos e educados. A infraestrutura e o café da manhã são perfeitos! As piscinas dos quartos e do hotel são constantemente limpas, bem preservadas. Há o fornecimento de repelente, chinelo, roupão. Já indiquei para várias pessoas!!

Hotel muito especial em Trancoso. Charmoso, elegante e com serviço 5 estrelas. De extremo bom gosto em tudo. Muito bem localizado, comida boa, quartos limpos e bem decorados. Amo esse hotel e recomendo de olhos fechados. A piscina linda e com petiscos deliciosos e caipirinhas super diferentes para degustar. Você se sente em uma imersão, uma experiência Baiana. Vale a pena a estadia. Funcionários muito gentis e atenciosos

Lugar lindo, a decoração valoriza a arte local e móveis brasileiros. Flores frescas espalhadas por toda a pousada e o jardim preserva as plantas da região. Equipe eficiente e pronta para ajudar em qualquer demanda. A comida também é um ponto alto da pousada, com a presença de excelentes opções veganas. Vale a experiência.

O funcionário Savio é mto atencioso e gostamos mto do atendimento dele. Achamos a comida nao mto farta, levando em conta o padrão Bahia. O preço tb é um pouco salgado, mas a valeu a visita. O restaurante é mto agradável e aconchegante.

I hesitate to write a review in English because we Americans can treat beautiful places like Disney World, however, after such an amazing experience I can't not write a glowing review. If you appreciate natural beauty, can respect and appreciate local culture and custom, and love adventure, run don't walk to Troncoso and UXUA. Pictures can't do this place justice, it's breathtaking. All the lodging and amenities are perfect and well thought through. All of the decor and furniture are made by local artisans. Artisans you can meet and learn from. The people are really who make UXUA shine. Adriano worked security for our area of the resort (we stayed in Casa Das Artes, a beautiful villa full of local art and a beautiful private pool). He was incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming. He helped us with our (very bad) Portuguese, advised us on local customs and good destinations, was extremely attentive and made us feel super secure (the area is very safe, the house is so beautiful it attracts lots of tourists taking pictures and asking questions). Gisele was a concierge that helped us as a translator during a very immersive experience with a local ceramicist (Ze) that welcomed us into his home and taught us about his work. She was super fun to spend time with, very knowledgeable and a great translator. Honestly, are too many great people working at UXUA to mention them all, Leo was an awesome and welcoming chef who very patiently taught us how to make Moqueca (so good!), Harlan was a super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable concierge who helped us with our plans. The breakfasts were incredible. It was such an amazing experience from the moment we got there and got the tour from Jimmy to when Harlan saw us off the the airport. Can't say enough good things about Troncoso and UXUA. We will be back.

Uxua was an amazing experience. We stayed at the house of São João. At first it's a little different as everything is open and there are no signs telling you which house is yours. But that's just a detail. With privacy as expected, everything works well and the staff is very prepared, kind and available. The hotel has 2 entrances, one for parking and the other in the Quadrado (middle). We were able to get everything done there and back to the hotel very quickly. There's only one thing we didn't like. Uxua is located on Coqueiro beach, there is a kiosk for guests and non-guests alike. Even if you are a guest, to use the kiosk you have to pay. I believe this is not right, as the hotel is very expensive. Delicious breakfast and dinner on the last day, best food ever. Incredible. If you like to walk, you can discover all the beaches by yourself just by walking. Believe you will have the best experience. The roads are very dilapidated and without lights. Sunset is around 5:40 pm, so care must be taken when driving after this time. Best beaches: rio da barra (may have natural and clay pools); mirrors (many natural pools), Patimirim (desert and beautiful) and Itapororoca (amazing natural pools). Believe me, go walking, because to get to Itaporoca the road is not good and the Fasano hotel put a barrier at the middle of the road, you have to say that you are going to Patimirim and they open it. This is absurd, as the beach is public. We are from São Paulo. Uxua will definitely be the one we will come back again.

This hotel was absolute PERFECTION. From the time of my booking until departure any and everything my partner and I needed was at our fingertips. Property: We booked the Casa Estúdio which was perfect for the two of us. It was located right next to the pool where breakfast was served each morning; however it was still (mostly) private. It was wonderfully appointed with any and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Location: Uxua is located in the middle of the quadrado. There are many shops and restaurants to chose from. We stumbled upon Osklen (our fav) not realizing they had a location there. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to the beach which is great to see the sunset each day. Service: Really some of the best service we have had EVER. The concierge was available via WhatsApp and attended to our every need within minutes. Every member of the staff was friendly engaging my and helpful. We booked taxis, massages, even a boat trip to Caraiva via them. We plan to return to Uxua whenever we visit Trancoso. Next time we’d love to bring friends and stay at one of their bigger casas with a dedicated pool.

Uxua is a fine piece of rustic-chic nestled in a lush garden. Kudos to the owner for marvelous taste and attention to detail. It is a real gem where quality is remembered long after price is forgotten!
