I booked the hotel and realized immediately afterward that we wouldn’t make it to the hotel in time. I attempted to make a note in my reservation that we wouldn’t be arriving until the next day to no avail and then tried to call the hotel and then just hopped on the road for my 20 hour journey.
I had decided to just suck it up and use the room to take a shower and use the rest room and freshen up and eat the breakfast I had paid for; however, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told they had just switched the rooms over and that they had tried to call me, which was not true as I had no missed calls or messages on my phone.
I was told if I wanted a room for the next few hours I would have to pay for the room I had already paid for again.
This used to be a really great property and was my go to on my way from LA to Texas; however, I will NEVER be staying here again.
Nothing says hospitality and customer/service oriented standards by not allowing a guest who has paid for a room for the night to use the restroom.
