I recently had a reservation at 17 West Hotel in Tulsa during my visit to the area. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, I was informed about an unforeseen emergency situation involving issues with the hotel’s pipes, preventing them from accommodating me as planned. I’m facing difficulties in obtaining a necessary confirmation letter from the hotel, a requirement from my insurance company to address the unforeseen expenses incurred for alternative accommodation. kindly request the management’s assistance in providing the required documentation to streamline this process. Moreover, since I haven’t been able to reach the hotel through traditional means, I would greatly appreciate direct contact from the management based on the details provided in this review. In my efforts to resolve this matter, I attempted to contact the CHOICE group, who later informed me that 17 West Hotel is no longer affiliated with their organization. This proactive step will not only assist in resolving my situation but also contribute to improving the overall experience for future guests. Your attention to this matter is highly appreciated.

Awful place. Scammed daughter out of money prepaid for 3 nights. Required deposit. Told her could be pre paid visa. When she got one, wouldn’t accept it and made her leave lobby in zero temps. Refused refund of any of this $ paid! Total scam taking advantage of those without resources - stole the money and provided no room.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years - since it became 17 West. I like the security of an underground parking garage during Oklahoma’s crazy weather, however lately the hotel is going down hill. It seems like there is always someone new at the front desk that doesn’t fully understand the check in process. The latest “ takeaway” is the restaurant ( to me the best reason to stay at this hotel) is now closed for breakfast and lunch. No more hot breakfast before a day making sales calls in Tulsa. I hope they can turn this around.

The hotel was way over booked. All third party bookings were cancelled. The check in process was a nightmare. It took over an hour and a half to get checked in. We were on 15 th floor and our keys quit working. After the concert we went to, the elevator line was about a 20 min wait. It took like an hour to get into our room due to the key/elevator problems.

I am staying at about 10 hotels per year for many years and normally I don't write many reviews, but when you get treated like sh't, it is hard not to say something, hoping it will help someone to stay away or will fire someone. It was a worst stay of my life. While location was good and actual room was ok, people made this experience horrible. I was yelled at by their Sales director (maybe general manager, they used both titles but no names were given). I have never been bullied before but now i know how it feels. I wasn't sure if i should be calling police or just leave. I left. People at front desk were ok, but management shouldn't be in hospitality industry. Besides that, it took 3 days and numerous reminders to get a new remote and to fix electronics in the room, cause everything was tangled up on the floor. Took 2 reminders to fixed the plugged toilet. I have heard same type of complaints from other guests, so not just me. Do yourself a favor, stay away

The staff was extremely friendly. Shout out to John for doing an amazing job accommodating the cyclists. The rooms however were not cleaned during our stay. We stayed for four days. We also had to ask the front desk for towel and soap replenishments.

In April of 2022 I made a reservation for this hotel for NCAA wrestling tournament in March 2023 using the Choice rewards web site. On December 27 2022, I received an email from the hotel manager saying that the hotel could no longer honor my reservation. At the time of booking there were several hotels in the area with vacancies. Regrettably, I chose this hotel and now 9 months later. I am left without a reservation. I was offered no compensation. I even asked the manager as a gesture of good faith if I could use the parking garage since I was now forced to rent a car 6 miles outside the city. The owner said "she was unable to do that" due to the hotel being booked privately. Essentially, some organization offered the hotel a lot of money for more rooms and the hotel decided to simply take away my room knowing I had no recourse. I can not comment on any aspect of the hotel. However, I will warn you that reservations are meaningless at this hotel. Make sure you are aware of that when booking.

Staff at 17 West hotel are fantastic. So helpful, they go the extra mile for everyone. The hotel needs some work, you can tell they are trying. We walked to a couple of restaurants. I hope this place succeeds , gets more updated.
