Being so high up on the slopes of the Ilaló volcano gives us a spectacular view. We're close to everything, yet far from the city. Here, all you hear are the birds in the morning, especially the hummingbirds. Guests have the option of dining at the Lodge, ordering delivery, or dining out. If you'd like a wider variety, the best option is Cumbaya.

We're close to everything, yet far from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the mornings and throughout the day, all you hear are the birds, especially hummingbirds. Marcelo and I try to make all guests feel like family, a home-like treatment, but with the pampering of the Lodge.

來自住宿之回應: We are sorry that your stay was not pleasant. 1. Our hotel is located on the slopes of the Ilaló Volcano, in a rural Commune, this is not a Metropolitan District, so you can find different type of constructions and houses. 2. The journey between the Airport and the hotel is 20 minutes or less depending on traffic. Marcelo, the owner of the hotel, in specific occasions when the agency requests a transfer, he pick up guests to give them more personalized treatment. 3. The hotel's garage doors remain closed for security, like all properties. If guests want to go out for a walk or hike, the small door opens so they can leave. 4. We are a Bed and Breakfast, so we do not have a restaurant in the hotel, by request of the agency we can cook for the guests, if they do not want homemade food, we have the menu of a restaurant we work with and they bring food to the hotel. 5. When guests do not pay for their orders when the delivery person arrives, we give them the option that we pay and when finished they can pay at check-out. The invoice increases in value, because transportation is not included in the price of the products, it is not that we increase any value. 6. The restaurant that we work with has been open in Ecuador since 1978. We have been working with them for 6 years, the portions are a good size and we have never had any complaints. 7. Breakfast hours are from 7:00 to 10:00, we coordinate with guests what time they want to have breakfast, we are flexible since some leave for their tours at different times. 8. Coffee, tea and water are available 24 hours a day free of charge for guests; we also have an americano and espresso machine. There is always coffee of the day, ready and hot. 9. We have a solar panel system and a water tank that keeps the water hot all the time. 10. The hotel is more than 2,500 meters above sea level, our climate is cold and windy, so it is not necessary to have air conditioning in the Sierra or highlands. 11. We are immersed in nature, so insects, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other animals are part of our biodiversity. 12. Our rooms have doors and windows that open, because guests want to enjoy the balcony or fresh air. 13. The hotel has 6 rooms, since we are a small, sustainable hotel and that has allowed us, over the years, to give each of our guests personalized attention. 14. We are not new to the business, we worked in tourism in several agencies before having our own company more than 20 years ago and the hotel for 6 years. Reviews from other guests, agencies, Booking and ******* are our best letter of introduction, we have hundreds of great comments, all passengers love our lodge.
