蒂巴酒店(Hotel Tiba)

The hotel was right in the centre. I stayed in room 303. Small with double bed though considering i booked single room. Room was clean and tiday and compact. Dud not have kettle or fridge and no glass could be found. The night receptionist was very helpful, cheerful and found me a glass and some water.

Ottima la posizione e la pulizia

É la seconda volta che soggiorno in questa struttura e anche stavolta non mi ha deluso. Posizione centralissima, vicino alle principali attrazioni. Camera pulita ed accogliente. I ragazzi della reception super disponibili. La colazione veramente buona. Inoltre le cameriere sono impeccabili, in particolare Manula a cui io e la mia compagna di viaggio ci siamo affezzionate molto . Unica peccata è che nel nostro secondo soggiorno l’asciugacapelli non funzionava , ma può capitare.

Colazione ottima. Buona posizione, Stanze perfette e molto pulite. Le cameriere dolcissime, gentili e disponibili. I ragazzi della reception super disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno aiutato tantissime volte per tutto. Tornerei senza pensarci.

Hotel is located right at the heart of Tunis city centre that makes accessibility to main attractions such as old Madina very easy. I visited in April which is a warm month of the year. Temperature was between 25 c to 31 c. However there was no air conditioning available. When asked, I was told that it could not be turned on until its really hot which I found rather odd. Nevertheless, helpful and polite staff more than made up for it. For the compatible price I paid and it‘a location, I would highly recommend this place.

I stayed at this hotel after my stay at the Carlton Hotel in Tunis was cancelled at the last minute. The hotel was reasonable quality, the rooms well appointed if slightly small. It was immaculately clean, and the reception staff were really helpful. My room had a small balcony overlooking the street the hotel is on, although there was no chair on the balcony. It did have a small stool in the room that was easy to carry on to the balcony. The dining room for breakfast was on the 4th floor, as was my room. Breakfast was not in a european style, but it was OK. The street the hotel is on is just off the main street, and was quiet. There was no function room to cause a disturbance. Generally a hotel to be recommended.

My wife and I stayed 6 hours only because we could not find available lodging close to the airport at a somewhat reasonable price point. Next time will just go to the Marriott. Arrived and security that you normally find at the door in Tunis was disinterested and was there but not really doing much Breakfast starts at 07.00. This is too late. We requested before arriving if they could make something available. No answer. After arrival we again asked and answer was "not possible as Breakfast staff arrives at 6.30 and thus would not be possible. We asked about a cup of coffee? "Not possible". We arrived at midnight and the room was probably 90 degrees. We did turn on the a/c and it did cool the room down after about a half hour. Bed. The hardest bed I have laid in at a hotel ever. The pillow was no different. Beyond firm into the realm of a rock with some foam around it. The duvet? There was none. Only a top sheet. Again never seen this before in a hotel. I guess they figure is 100 degrees (35) in the room you don't need a duvet. There is no water in the room and I wouldn't advise drinking from the tap. There was no kettle or coffee maker. I think having no water in a room that was already 35 degrees (90 Fahrenheit) is really poor customer service. The front door had no latch or security lock, so wasn't sure if it actually locked until we walkd out and tried to turn the handle from the outside and access it. It auto locks just know this if you chose this lodging. The best part of the stay was leaving. Cost about 10 TND to get to the hotel from the airport on the Bolt app. Don't recommend, won't stay again. I would give it a 5 out of 10.
