甲吉維拉絲酒店(Madpackers Udaipur)

L’hotel ci è piaciuto molto. Camere spaziose, pulite, servizi precisi e puntuali, personale gentile e affidabile. Wi-Fi potente nella nostra camera, la 306. Anche lo spazio e lo stile dell’hotel sono una poesia. Non abbiamo fatto colazione in struttura, per cui non posso dare una valutazione a riguardo. La posizione perfetta! Sullo scintillante lago Pichola, accanto al Ambrai Ghat, dove non ci siamo persi ne’ un’alba, ne’ un tramonto, da qui tutto è raggiungibile a piedi in un attimo. Consigliatissimo.

Hemos estado dos noches, después de algunos problemas para entrar de madrugada nos abrieron la puerta y nos dejaron entrar a la habitación mucho antes de tiempo Habitación grande, agua caliente y suciedad la normal en India. Muy amable el chico del desayuno y buena vista desde la terraza

This is one of the best hostel in udaipur the team working here is like a family You will always wanted to hangout with them they have lot of things to do activities music night sunset trek I will be back again and stay with madpackers wherever i will go

Lovely Place with beautiful view on the Pichula Lake! Taking breakfast on rooftop while enjoying the morningsun, Indian and international food available and very comfortable rooms. Very clean and hot water. I absolutely recommend this place!

Unfortunately, my recent stay at this hotel in Udaipur was disappointing. It was clear that the cleaning staff had not done a thorough job. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. The unpleasant experience continued with the hotel personnel, who were unprofessional and unhelpful. Mainly the guy serving breakfast. He did not communicate with us properly. If it was due to lack of English or his bad mood I can just guess. After my friend have written her review based on our bad experience, the hotel personnel ask her to delete it 🤦‍♂️ without acknowledging their mistakes. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel until the owner decides to make some improvements.

Gaj Villas is a perfect hotel close to lake Pichola. The room are big and clean, with perfect ac and bathroom. The staff are very kindly and also the breakfast is really good!!! A nice place to stay in Udaipur. I was at the second floor and the room was also quite, without noises

The only positive point: the location. The toilet leaks as soon as you flush it, water everywhere in the bathroom. A RAT in the bathroom (okay we understand it's not necessarily their fault given the proximity of the lake) and leeches in the toilet! Even after these incidents, no commercial gesture, we were asked to pay a late checkout... Since when are check outs at 10am? the staff are as unpleasant as possible, and when we raise problems, they make fun of us. The breakfast is lousy: two slices of toast and an unripe banana (every morning). Pass on, really!

The roads leading to hotel were so congested that we could not reach the venue in our car. Even taking the U turn would cause traffic jam. If you are travelling in your own vehicle, avoid this hotel at all costs. Best to use local transport for the city.

This hotel is 50/50. The view is pretty nice if you get the right room and the rooftop restaurant is a sun trap! The pancakes and chai tea are a must for breakfast! However it wasn’t all perfect… when we arrived in the evening they said they can’t cook us anything to which I literally begged for a naan 🤣 On our first day the power went out just as we were getting showers etc so put a hold on our day for at least an hour. The WiFi is also shocking so good luck with that! The restaurant is not great, they never have anything that’s on the menu - no chicken, no mutton, no cheese, no juice, no honey, no jam etc etc - only veg or egg. So maybe best to head out for food if you want something more than a snack. But they did let us chill out on the rooftop on our day of checkout which was nice. Good location for walking round Udaipur and a nice view of the lake but you only need a couple of days here.
